Dylan O’Brien is getting candid about his accident.

The 29-year-old Infinite actor opened up in an interview with Variety.

Back in 2016, he suffered traumatic injuries when he was hit by a stunt car while shooting the third and final film in the Maze Runner franchise, requiring months of recovery.

“Whenever I’m putting on a rig, I’m vetting every piece of that rig and much more,” he says of his experience after the accident.

“Even to this day, if I’m on set and I’m doing a stunt, if I’m in a rig, if there’s some action going on, I am slightly irritable. There is a degree of anxiety in me that I don’t think there’s ever not going to be,” he continued.

“I had friends that were so dear to me that I had felt that I had neglected for years. All of a sudden, it was very important to me to nurture those relationships and not lose them. I think that it absolutely completely rewires and restructures the way you see your life and what you deem important.”

He also recently reacted to the “Dylan O’Brien Is Over” Twitter party.

He also revealed the major thing he took from the set of Teen Wolf.

The cast of Maze Runner is using Zoom to their advantage during quarantine.

Kaya Scodelario shared a screenshot of the cast including Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Will Poulter, Dexter Draden, and more catching up on the meeting app on her Instagram.

“We survived the Glade, the Scorch & whatever the third one was about. We got this… 🔫⛏💡😚❤️💯,” Kaya captioned the screenshot.

The Maze Runner franchise had three movies, which hit theaters from 2014 to 2018.

In this deleted scene, Dylan and his co-stars Will Poulter and Thomas Brodie-Sangster approach a bridge and find it destroyed and have no other way of getting down but by jumping off the edge.

Will‘s character jumps off first and you can tell immediately that this is a deleted scene as the CGI is not complete. You get to see Dylan and Thomas leap at the end of the clip.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure dominated the weekend box office after being released last week!

The film, which stars Dylan O’Brien, made $23.5 million and brought in a total of $62.6 million internationally.

The flick ended the reign of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which previously topped the box office for three weeks straight.

The Dwayne Johnson flick still brought in $16.4 million after six weeks in theaters.

The top five was rounded out by Hostiles, which grossed $10.2 million, The Greatest Showman, which took in $9.5 million, and The Post, which brought in $8.9 million.

The final film in the Maze Runner franchise, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will be hitting theaters at midnight tonight, and we’ve heard there’s no need to stay after the credits roll.

The film brings back the actors from the first two films including Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Espositio, Aidan Gillen, Ki Hong Lee, Barry Pepper, Will Poulter, and Patricia Clarkson.

In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

If you missed it, Dylan recently confirmed that he is still dating actress Britt Robertson.

Dylan O’Brien goes comfy casual in a sweater and slacks for the UK premiere of Maze Runner: The Death Cure at the Vue West End on Monday (January 22) in London, England.

The 26-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

Kaya walked the red carpet with her husband Benjamin Walker and they shared some cute PDA in front of the photographers.

The Death Cure, the third and final film in the popular franchise, will hit theaters on Friday!
