Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Leave Royal Titles Off Letter to Charity

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not use their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles in a new letter to a charitable organization.

In the letter addressed to StreetGames, the Sussexes thanked the organization for their contributions to the Hubb Community Kitchen, which supplied meals to those in need throughout London.

“We wanted to write and express our heartfelt thanks to the team at StreetGames following their support delivering Hubb Community Kitchen meals throughout London,” the letter began. “To know that North Paddington Youth Club, Solidarity Sports and St. Matthews Project distributed hundreds of freshly prepared meals across their networks of young people over the last few months is fantastic.”

Meghan and Harry continued on, “The impact of Covid-19 has been a scary and testing time for so many people from all walks of life, all over the world. However, it is in difficult times like these that goodwill to others and community spirit prevails. We have been touched to witness from afar the coming together of the organizations we champion and so deeply care about. The compassion and leadership of young people across the StreetGames network is vital, and it is their kindness and selflessness that inspires others to do better.”

“This letter comes with our sincere thanks and best wishes to everyone at StreetGames,” the duo concluded, writing just their given names of “Harry & Meghan.”

The letter comes months after Meghan and Harry stepped back from their senior royal roles and also after he requested to just be called Harry, instead of the Duke of Sussex or Prince.

Meghan added, “I’m so proud of you, so is Harry, and we are sending so much love to you from across the pond and thinking of you today, as I’m sure it’s a difficult day, but also one where you can look at how much you’ve accomplished in the past three years, and how you continue to give back and be an example for all of those around you.”

Here is how the royal workload has changed since Harry and Meghan‘s royal exit…

Prince Harry's Aunt Speaks to Royal Workload After Megxit

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who is Prince Harry‘s aunt, is speaking about how the royal workloads are being impacted now that he and Meghan Markle have made their royal exit.

She said she is “as busy as I have ever been” during an interview with the Sunday Times.

“We’ve all got our own little portfolios,” Sophie added. “I don’t see anything changing, but if we’re asked to do more…I don’t know because it hasn’t really happened.”

She continued, “I am pretty busy already, so I’m not sure how much more I can do. There are only so many hours in the day. People may pay more attention to what I am doing, but I remain as busy as I have ever been.”

Author Emily Giffin Admits Her Comments About Meghan Markle Were 'Just Mean'

Emily Giffin has opened up about her mean comments about Meghan, Duchess of Sussex in a new interview, while promoting her new book.

The author came under fire last month when she called the 38-year-old Duchess a “phony” and “unmaternal”.

Now, Emily is admitting that she took her comments too far.

“Well, you know, there’s one thing to have, you know, to in general have legitimate criticisms of people, but that’s a whole other thing,” Emily said to AP (via ET Canada). “My comments were not legitimate. They were just mean, so that’s sort of two separate things.”

She continued, “I mean, I do think it’s OK that there’s this whole idea of is it ever OK to criticize one another? You know, as women or as is people like should we just never get to criticize? And I think we can go too far with that. I don’t think we need to treat each other with kid gloves. Women treat each other as women with kid gloves, especially when criticized.”

“Criticism is legitimate. But just that wasn’t the case with these comments.”

Emily‘s first comments about Meghan came after she and husband, Prince Harry, shared a video of reading to their son Archie as they raised money for Save the Children.
