It’s a mini Spice Girls reunion!

During her New Year’s Eve 2017 party on Saturday in the Maldives, Victoria Beckham joined her former band mate Mel C on stage for a performance of their hit song “2 Becomes 1.”

In the videos and pictures, Victoria is spotted wearing a pretty red gown as Mel rocked a shorter black dress.

After the performance Victoria and Mel hugged it out as the crowd applauded them.

It also looks like from Instagram that Mel was the main source of entertainment for the Beckham party.

Mel C Developed Eating Disorder During Spice Girls Days

Mel C (aka Melanie Chisholm) is opening up about battling an eating disorder due to the pressures she faced while a member of the Spice Girls.

“I joined the Spice Girls when I was 20 and it was an insane time. I developed an eating disorder,” told BBC Good Food. “I was in the spotlight, being photographed constantly, and I started to become self conscious of my body image.”

“I was in denial for a long time but I always wanted to get better — I had talking therapies and holistic therapies, like acupuncture. Sport became really important to me too,” Mel added. “When I was a teenager, I didn’t know the difference between a protein and a carb,”

“I love to be physically fit and, obviously, to really push yourself, you have to make sure you eat the right things. I like to think I have a healthy relationship with food now, and I love to cook. We’re so much more aware of nutrition nowadays,” Mel continued.

Spice Girls originally consisted of Mel B (“Scary Spice”), Mel C (“Sporty Spice”), Emma Bunton (“Baby Spice”), Geri Halliwell (“Ginger Spice”), and Victoria Beckham (“Posh Spice”).

Melanie C Reveals Why The Spice Girls Will Never Truly Reform!

Mel C goes topless in this new photo shoot from LOVE magazine’s September 2016 issue.

The 42-year-old singer opens up about her upcoming album Version of Me and reveals why the Spice Girls will never truly reform in an exclusive essay for the mag.

On the Spice Girls: “Look, I will be a Spice Girl until I die. But the continuous speculation on whether we will reform to celebrate 20 years of Wannabe has been particularly exhausting. Don’t get me wrong – I totally get it. But is it a new rule that bands have to reform? Why can’t we just be remembered for our incredible achievements in the nineties? When we embarked on the reunion tour it was amazing, scary and surreal all at the same time. The five of us back together again. Like we’d stepped back in time for a global celebration of the band.”

On the Spice Girls reuniting: “Truth be told, earlier this year after several face-to-face meetings with the girls I made the difficult decision not to be part of a proposed reunion with Emma, Geri and Melanie. Victoria had already bowed out understandably with the demands of her fashion label and her rather large family. The hardest part for me was letting people down, the girls, the fans, civilisation?! Unfortunately something didn’t feel quite right and I had to follow my gut. For me the absolute pinnacle of my Spice existence was being watched by a billion people around the globe belting out ‘Spice up Your Life’ on top of a black cab at the 2012 London Olympics. Anything less than the full line-up just didn’t feel like we’d be doing justice to the band or the fans.”
