Two celebrity guests will join the trio for each episode. There will be six episodes through the end of the year.
“As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy,” Jeff Olde, exec vice president of programming and development for E!, told Variety. “We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the Fashion Police cameras, as she joins returning panelists Giuliana and Brad. And with the added flavor of rotating panelists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode.”
WILL YOU WATCH Melissa Rivers on the new season of Fashion Police?
The 47-year-old TV personality would take on the role of panel moderator when the show starts shooting on August 31.
“Melissa‘s going on,” a close source shared to New York Daily New‘s Confidenti@l. “She is so happy, she is excited. The idea actually came from her. The bosses like it. It’ll be a tribute to her mom, and Melissa‘s the one who understands how it’s done. She can pull it off.”
WHAT DO YOU THINK of Melissa Rivers possibly joining Fashion Police?
“I’m just going to say it wasn’t a match on a lot of levels,” the 47-year-old television personality said about Kathy. “My biggest complaint was the feeling that she kind of sh*t all over my mother’s legacy in her statement on leaving. And I know that that was not an intentional reading of it, but that’s how I felt. But I know that wasn’t how it was intended.”
“Everything was so heightened and everybody was so crazy, but that was my takeaway by [Griffin] calling the comedy and the style of it old-fashioned,” Melissa added. “I understand what you’re doing — you’re trying to save yourself, but don’t crap all over my mother to do it, and that’s how I felt. They took the last thing I had and smashed it.”

The cute couple were joined at the event by Mario Lopez, Melissa Rivers (who helped pay tribute to her mom Joan Rivers at the event), and Betty White, who won the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award. Congrats, Betty!
The night before, Chrissy attended the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, where a photo surfaced of NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and Patriots coach Bill Belichick seemingly checking out her butt. See the photo here. Chrissy responded to the whole situation – see her tweet below.
None of the guys were looking at my ass. They were just wondering why I don't have one which is a reasonable concern.

“It would have been nice, especially considering the impact she had on the awards season, but Cooper and I have been overwhelmed with support and love over my mom’s passing and we choose to focus on that,” the 47-year-old producer wrote on Facebook.
