The track, which was originally released as the Blaqstarr remix, serves as the latest single off of the 40-year-old singer’s fifth studio album A.I.M., which is set to be released on September 9th.

M.I.A. recently revealed that Zayn Malik is set to be featured on the album on a track called “Freedun.”

“We have the same publishers and they wanted me to demo some songs for Zayn,” M.I.A. told EW. “Before I started writing properly my own stuff [for A.I.M], I was thinking maybe I’ll write for other people instead. I really wanted to write a song for Zayn. We had a couple people in common. And that’s how it came about. I didn’t really approach him for my own record until later on. First, I thought I wanted to try writing a song for him.”

M.I.A. has officially dropped her brand new single “Go Off” and you can stream and watch the music video right here!

The track – produced by Skrillex and Blaqstarr – serves as the lead single to the 40-year-old singer’s fifth studio album A.I.M., which is set to be released on September 9th.

“It’s my last record, so I just want it to be happy, and there’s no complaints on it,” M.I.A. explained on BBC Radio 1. “I want time to go and do some other stuff. I’m sure I’ll put music out and make music, but as an album it kind of just came together. I started making it after I made ‘Borders,’ and it just seemed to write itself very quickly.”

M.I.A. has partnered with H&M in the just released music video for “Rewear It,” her latest single from her upcoming album Matahdatah.

The 40-year-old entertainer is raising awareness for World Recycle Week (April 18-24), an initiative that encourages shoppers to recycle unwanted clothing at H&M stores in exchange for store credit.

“It just seemed like a logical thing to do, to get involved in a project like this and see how high-street brands are going to become a little bit more environmentally friendly and people-friendly,” M.I.A told Vogue. “I have no shame about it, and I’m definitely not a pop star who has to wear something once and throw it away.”

M.I.A. has just released her new politically charged music video for “Borders,” her latest single from her upcoming album Matahdatah.

“I want to dedicate this video to my uncle Bala, my icon and role model,” the 40-year-old singer said in a statement on Twitter. “One of the first Tamil migrants to come to the U.K. in the 60s who went to inspire so many people as a creative, daring man with so much swag that everything I do doesn’t even touch his sides. Thank you for helping my family come to England and taking us out of Sri Lanka and saving us. Everything I became was to say thank you to you!”

The video features M.I.A. hopping on boats with refugees and showing the strife they are put through.

M.I.A. just opened up about being shunned by Oprah Winfrey at a 2009 event in a brand new interview with Rolling Stone!

“In 2009, Time nominated me for one of the most influential people of the 21st century or something and I met Oprah at that party. And I was like, ‘Hey, people are gonna f–king die in my country. Like, please pay attention.’ And she was like, ‘You’re sh-t because you were rude to Lady Gaga and I’m not talking to you. And I’m gonna interview Tom Cruise jumping on my sofa, so f–k off,’” the 39-year-old rapper shared.

M.I.A. added, “Yeah, she didn’t talk to me. She shut me down. She took that photo of me, but she was just like, ‘I can’t talk to you because you’re crazy and you’re a terrorist.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m not. I’m a Tamil and there are people dying in my country and you have to like look at it because you’re f–king Oprah and every American told me you’re going to save the world.’”
