“He told me flat-out, ‘Michael, I’ll never go back into the studio,’” Michael said about working with David again. “We talked about all the stuff I was going through, and David said that, if he did go back in, it would have to be for something natural and organic and beautiful. It should be about love: making the music you love, the songs you love to sing. In retrospect, that sparked something in both of us.”

“I’m really grateful to Michael for getting me back into the studio,” David added. “He’s made some good records without me. But I think we both realized this was the right time for us to get back together again. He’s truly fearless when it comes to music. And he’s not lying when he says he’s a changed man. Imagine the emotional rawness he was able to draw on from the last few years.”

Michael Buble Admits He's Still 'Not OK' Following Son's Cancer Battle

Michael Buble is opening up how he’s doing after his 5-year-old son Noah‘s battle with cancer.

During his episode of Carpool Karaoke, host James Corden asked the 43-year-old singer how he’s doing after these rough past couple of years.

“It’s so hard to have to acknowledge it because it’s so painful to talk about,” Michael shared while fighting back tears. “But obviously, we got the diagnosis, and that was it man, my whole life ended.”

Michael‘s son Noah was only three-years-old when he was diagnosed with cancer. Last year, Michael‘s wife Luisana Lopilato revealed the great news that Noah was no longer battling cancer.

“It’s weird man, I’m not OK,” Michael continued. “My wife, honestly, when this all started, I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us and to be positive. And when they got [the cancer] out and the chemo was done and they said, ‘We did it, it’s good, he’s ok,’ I fell, I just fell. My wife picks me up now.”

Michael Bublé Is Not Quitting Music After Reported Retirement

Michael Bublé rep is responding to reports that he is retiring from music.

The 43-year-old singer’s rep slammed an interview which quoted Michael saying he was leaving music after making a perfect record.

“This is not true at all. That is my statement. Totally taken out of context,” Michael‘s rep told Extra.

According to the interview, Michael said he no longer has “the stomach for” the entertainment industry and “celebrity narcissism.”

Michael added that his perspective on life changed after his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer back in 2016.

Since then, Michael‘s son has continued to improve and we hope he continues to make music!

Michael Buble Says He's Retiring from Music Career

Michael Buble is ready to leave his music career behind and focus on his family.

The 43-year-old singer will be dropping his 10th studio album, Love, on November 16 and he says that it will be his last.

“I don’t have the stomach for it any more. The celebrity narcissism,” Michael told Daily Mail about his decision to quit show business. “This is my last interview. I’m retiring. I’ve made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top.”

Michael‘s perspective on life changed after his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer at the age of three back in 2016. He says he was always worried about ticket sales before Noah was diagnosed and now he’s “embarrassed by [his] ego.”

“I decided I’ll never read my name again in print, never read a review, and I never have. I decided I’d never use social media again, and I never have,” Michael said.

“It’s been such a difficult exercise. But my whole being’s changed. My perception of life. I don’t know if I can even get through this conversation without crying. And I’ve never lost control of my emotions in public,” he added.
