Check out the first full length trailer for Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron‘s highly anticipated film Prometheus.

Michael, Charlize, and director Ridley Scott debuted the trailer during a panel at WonderCon 2012, where they didn’t offer much insight into the details of the film.

“If we’re lucky, there will be a second part of this [film],” Ridley told the crowd (via EW). “The film does leave you with some nice big open questions.”

Here’s the film’s synopsis: A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Prometheus, which also stars Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce, and Idris Elba, opens in theaters on June 8!

A new trailer for Michael‘s upcoming film Prometheus just hit the web! The Ridley Scott flick also stars Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, and Guy Pearce. Look out for the film in theaters on June 8 of this year!

Michael Fassbender is in early talks to star in the new romantic drama, The Mountain Between Us, according to Variety.

The 34-year-old actor would play Ben Trace, “a doctor and avid climber who uses his skills to transport an injured writer named Ashley down a mountain in harsh weather.”

The Gerardo Naranjo-directed film is based on the novel by Charles Martin which “follows two strangers who survive a plane crash in the Colorado woods and are forced to rely on one another for survival, eventually falling in love.”

Pictured inside are Michael and his girlfriend out on Thursday (March 15) in NYC’s Soho neighborhood.

Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, and Jeremy Renner are among Hollywood’s leading men being considered to play the villain in the upcoming thriller The Counselor!

Deadline reports that Brad may not be available for the project but that his name has been brought up for the role.

Michael Fassbender will star in the Ridley Scott directed film, which was written by Cormac McCarthy.

IndieWire explains, “The script is said to be an amped up No Country For Old Men-esque tale that follows a lawyer who naively gets involved in the drug trade and finds himself caught up in a desperate situation”.

Michael Fassbender and Gina Carano arrive at the Haywire premiere during the Berlin International Film Festival on Wednesday (February 15) at Berlinale Palast in Berlin, Germany.

The co-stars, joined by fellow cast members Antonio Banderas, Natascha Berg, and director Steven Soderbergh, hit the red carpet after promoting the action flick at a photo call earlier in the day.

“I find it really interesting the adrenaline that you get filming,” Gina, a mixed martial arts star, told reporters. “It’s a more prolonged adrenaline than, say, fighting, which is a lot more harsh.”

“I found out that I got my ass kicked better than I kick ass,” Michael quipped.

Michael Fassbender, Jean Dujardin, and Colin Firth suit up for the 2012 BAFTAs, aka Orange British Academy Film Awards, held at the Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

Michael, 34, and Jean, 39, are both up for the award for Best Actor, while Colin is serving as a presenter at the show; his movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is also up for the award for Best Film!

Colin walked the red carpet with his wife Livia, who is taking on the Green Carpet Challenge, a movement to bring sustainable fashion to the red carpet.

Colin and Michael are wearing Giorgio Armani tuxes made from ethical wool, and Livia is wearing a tuxedo by Sir Paul Smith.
