Michael Jackson's Three Kids Pose Together in Rare Photo

Blanket reportedly changed his name to Bigi in 2015 and the last time he made an appearance at a public event was in 2013.

Michael Jackson's Estate Shuts Down Wade Robson's Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

Michael Jackson‘s estate successfully beat Wade Robson‘s sexual abuse lawsuit.

The court found that the 35-year-old choreographer filed his complaint four years too late, failing to meet legal requirements for an exception to the time limit. Wade has indicated that he will appeal the court’s decision, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The California judge ruled on Tuesday (December 19) that the companies controlled by Michael‘s estate are not liable for the allegations of childhood sexual abuse.

Wade first sued in 2013, claiming he was abused for nearly a decade, and that his companies facilitated the behavior.

“The Estate of Michael Jackson believes the court made the correct decision in dismissing Wade Robson‘s claim against it. In my opinion Mr. Robson‘s allegations, made twenty plus years after they supposedly occurred and years after Mr. Robson testified twice under oath – including in front of a jury – that Michael Jackson had never done anything wrong to him were always about the money rather than a search for the truth,” said Howard Weitzman, the attorney representing Michael’s estate, on Wednesday (December 20) to THR.

“I respect but disagree with the Court’s ruling and will be challenging it through the appellate courts. I am determined to see this case through to a determination on the factual merits by a jury of 12,” Wade told THR in a statement through his attorney.

Quincy Jones Awarded $9.4 Million From Michael Jackson Estate After Royalties Dispute

Quincy Jones was awarded $9.4 million on Wednesday (July 26) following a dispute with the late Michael Jackson‘s estate regarding unpaid music royalties.

The 84-year-old record producer says he was underpaid for music used in Michael‘s documentary This Is It, as well as two Cirque du Soleil shows, Variety reports.

The royalties and production fees arise from some of Michael‘s biggest hits like “Thriller” and “Billie Jean.”

In the lawsuit filed around four years ago, Quincy sought $30 million, according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, Michael’s estate claimed the number was around $392,000.

“As an artist, maintaining the vision and integrity of one’s creation is of paramount importance,” Quincy said in a statement. “I, along with the team I assembled with Michael, took great care and purpose in creating these albums, and it has always given me a great sense of pride and comfort that three decades after they were originally recorded, these songs are still being played in every corner of the world.”

“This lawsuit was never about Michael, it was about protecting the integrity of the work we all did in the recording studio and the legacy of what we created,” he added. “Although this judgment is not the full amount that I was seeking, I am very grateful that the jury decided in our favor in this matter. I view it not only as a victory for myself personally, but for artists’ rights overall.”

Michael and Quincy worked together on Michael‘s albums Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad.
