Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood‘s marriage is officially over.
A judge granted the dissolution of Lisa Marie and Michael‘s marriage on Wednesday (May 26), according to court documents obtained by People.
The judge also ruled that the pair can be considered legally divorced as long as the continue to sort of custody and visitation rights to their 12-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley.
Lisa Marie filed for divorce for Michael in 2016 after 10 years of marriage. Since splitting up, the two have been in a nasty custody battle.
As of last year, Lisa Marie and Michael shared legal joint custody of their daughters, but Michael only had supervised visits with the girls three times a week while Lisa Marie had physical custody.
After the tragic and sudden death of Lisa Marie‘s son Benjamin Keough back in July 2020, Michael filed for primary custody of Harper and Finley, stating in court documents that he feared she might “relapse into drug and alcohol dependency.”
As of right now, Lisa Marie and Michael‘s custody agreement is unknown.
Michael was Lisa Marie‘s fourth husband. She was previously married to Danny Keough, the late Michael Jackson, and Nicolas Cage.
