Michael Steger Breaking News and Photos
According to EW, the 29-year-old actor will get “picked up by King of Mississippi Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) because of his resemblance to his current steady, Talbot (Theo Alexander).” (Russell and Talbot are True Blood‘s first gay vampire couple.)
British actress Lara Pulver has also been tapped to play Claudine, the fairy godmother to Anna Paquin’s character Sookie.
True Blood premieres on Sunday (June 13) @ 9PM ET/PT on HBO! Excited??
The guys took in Disneyland’s Halloween Time and tried on some fun Halloween-themed mouse ears – love the Jack Skellington ones on Matt!
Michael, 29, and Matt, 26, also checked out the Star Tours attraction to get in touch with their inner droids – Matt voiced Anakin Skywalker on Star Wars: The Clone Wars before his gig on 90210.
Michael recently told the Los Angeles Times that he’d almost given up on acting before he got 90210.
“I was a bio major and I was going to take over my aunt’s dental practice and be a dentist,” he said. “Then I was in this play at Cal Poly and had such an amazing, profound experience that I changed my major, and I’ve pursued acting full-time ever since.”
The 90210 finale airs TONIGHT (May 19) @ 9PM on the CW. Episode “One Party Can Ruin Your Whole Summer” Snyopsis: Adrianna and Navid are forced to make an impromptu exit from the prom when Adrianna goes into labor. Dixon confronts Ethan about Silver when he notices that Ethan might be developing feelings for his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Annie reaches the breaking point when Naomi accuses her of trying to hook up with Liam, and some of her peers (still angry about the after party fiasco) decide to take both verbal and physical action against her.
Dustin, 23, and Jessica, 21, were accompanied by costars Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds and Michael Steger. The 90210 stars watched the Los Angeles Kings lose again to the San Jose Sharks, 1-0. After the game, the cast socialized with The Kings center Anze Kopitar and defenseman Matt Greene.

4.9 million viewers tuned into Tuesday’s two-hour premiere, garnering a 2.6 rating among adults 18-40. Smallville held the previous record in the adult demo with a 2.2 rating.
The network’s all-series premiere record is held by reality TV series competition America’s Next Top Model with a 2.6 rating.
The trade mag reports that if the CW’s overall performance does not improve, the network may be axed altogether.
THE BIG QUESTION: Will you tune into 90210 next week?
The first reviews are in from last nigiht’s two-hour premiere of the much-buzzed-about 90210. Check it.
“90210 is a perfectly competent and reasonably seamless revival that understands what made the original tick (and tick and tick), while being infused (occasionally suffused) with enough contemporary touchstones to remind new viewers that this isn’t their parents’ (or at least older siblings’) trusty fave… 90210 is not a disaster, and the CW can now officially let out a deep sigh … of relief.” — Newsday
“More than just a famous zip code, 90210 is easily the most hyped show of the fall season and the CW is banking on all of the buzz to draw in big ratings. This spinoff, eight years after the first series ended, is a pallid copy of the original fish out of water story only with shinier cars, fancier clothes and Botox aplenty.” — Variety
“All the expected ingredients were there: gorgeous teens, lots of style and extravagance, raging hormones, and always the potential for backstabbing, broken hearts and payback. Same old, same old at West Beverly Hills High School.”– AP
