Look Back at Obama's Star-Studded Inaugural Concert in 2009

Donald Trump is definitely not the only president to have a pre-inaugural concert at the Lincoln Memorial, as he suggested at his event. President Barack Obama hosted one in 2009 and it featured so many stars!

Obama‘s concert featured such stars as Beyonce, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Shakira, Josh Groban, Usher, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Renee Fleming, Heather Headley, and many more.

Denzel Washington, Steve Carell, Ashley Judd, Rosario Dawson, Tom Hanks, Queen Latifah, Samuel L. Jackson, and other actors also made appearances to energize the crowd of several hundred thousand people.

The performers lineup for Trump‘s inaugural concert featured much less star power.

Take a look back at the photos, which include Michelle Obama and their daughters Malia and Sasha, who were just 10 and 7 at the time!
