Michelle later opened up about her daughters Malia and Sasha and the first time she sent them to school with the secret service at 10 and seven-years-old, respectively.

“I saw their little faces pressed up against the window and all I could think was, ‘What have we done?’…How well we managed this experience could truly make or break them,” she explained.

Melania Trump's RNC Speech Is Strikingly Similar to Michelle Obama's 2008 Speech

Melania Trump showed support for her husband Donald at the Republican National Convention on Monday night (July 18) but her speech sounded pretty familiar to many viewers.

The 46-year-old former model took to the podium to discuss the values she shares with her presidential hopeful husband and used some of the exact same sentences as Michelle Obama did during her Democratic National Convention speech in 2008.

Both women used phrases such as “you work hard for what you want in life” and “your word is your bond and you do what you say.”

Donald‘s campaign later issued a statement about Melania‘s speech saying, “In her beautiful speech, Melania‘s team of writers took notes on her life’s inspirations, and in some instances included fragments of that reflected her own thinking. Melania’s immigrant experience and love for America shone through her in her speech, which made it such a success.”
