There has been some confusion amid actress Michelle Williams‘ pregnancy and engagement news!

If you don’t know, it was revealed a few hours ago that the award-winning actress Michelle Williams is pregnant and engaged to her Fosse/Verdon director Thomas Kail.

However, she doesn’t have social media, so when users go to search for “Michelle Williams,” they often get to a different verified account – the singer Michelle Williams! This Michelle took to Instagram Story to explain she was getting a lot of congratulations messages for the actress. Check out what she posted in the gallery!

This is not the first time the singer Michelle has spoken out about the confusion between her and the actress!

Beyonce is all smiles as she and Jay-Z skip the red carpet while arriving at the Tyler Perry Studios Grand Opening on Saturday (October 5) in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 38-year-old entertainer dazzled in a curve-hugging gold dress while the 49-year-old rapper looked sharp in a black tux.

Other stars joining Beyonce at the event included her Destiny’s Child co-members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams along with her mom Tina Lawson and husband Richard Lawson.

The following day, Beyonce took to Instagram to congratulate Tyler Perry on the opening of his new studios.

“Happy Sunday. Congratulations to Tyler Perry on the opening of his studios. I could feel our ancestors’ presence,” Beyonce wrote. “Surrounded by my heroes, I watched Denzel, Queen Oprah, Spike, Whoopi, Sir Poitier, Will, Halle, Dame Cicely and our angels John Singleton and Diahann Carroll honored. The Armand de Brignac crashed against each soundstage as fireworks lit up the sky. Generations of blood, sweat and tears, success, excellence and brilliance. It makes me so proud, so full, I could not stop crying. Thank you my Virgo brother for so much love and passion put into every detail. My prayer today is that you will take it all in. You inspire me to dream even bigger.”

Michelle Williams, the singer from Destiny’s Child, is not happy with the angry comments she received after Michelle Williams, the Fosse/Verdon actress, received her Emmy Award this weekend.

If you missed it, Michelle (the actress) won an Emmy on Sunday (September 22) and gave an impassioned speech about pay equality.

After the speech, haters came for Michelle (the singer), and she spoke out about it during an Instagram Live.

“Let’s get one thing clear. How come when y’all are tagging and congratulating a person … do y’all see that I’m black when you go to my profile or tag, like when you search for the Michelle Williams?” the singer said. “I am black! OK? I ain’t mixed with nothing. I ain’t mixed with Persian, Russian. I am black!”

“I thought [Michelle's acceptance speech] was her truth. I thought it was awesome. I thought she was factual. I could be wrong,” she added. “But yo, I just told this woman a few minutes ago on my Instagram, I was like, ‘I’m so sorry that my namesake upset you! But can’t you see that I’m black?’”

This isn’t the first time the two Michelle Williams‘ have spoken out about the confusion over sharing a name!

Michelle Williams was at the premiere of The Lion King to support her longtime friend Beyonce and a funny moment happened on the red carpet!

The 38-year-old singer was interviewed by Variety‘s Marc Malkin and he first asked what she thinks of Beyonce playing Nala.

“I thought it was absolutely brilliant. No one else could do it. When I think about her eye color, her skin, her hair, she’s perfect for it!” she said

Marc then asked Michelle if she’s heard the new music that Beyonce recorded for the movie. Instead of answering the question, she just started doing a variety of poses for the camera.

“So that’s a no comment,” Marc deadpanned, getting a laugh out of Michelle.

Ladies and gentlemen, Beyonce has arrived.

The 37-year-old entertainer slayed the red carpet as she arrived at the premiere of The Lion King on Tuesday (July 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

Beyonce sparkled in a diamond-covered blazer and a sparkling, black dress as she attended the premiere of her new movie.

Also stepping out for the premiere were Beyonce‘s Destiny’s Child band mates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, who brought along 4-year-old son Titan. All the three ladies even coordinated in black and silver outfits!

The Lion King hits theaters on July 19th.

There was a mini Destiny’s Child reunion at the 2019 Wearable Art Gala!

Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams met up on the red carpet as they arrived at the event on Saturday night (June 1) at The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Sana Monica, Calif.

Kelly sported gold jewelry and paint on her face along with a blue outfit while Michelle donned a black, tulle ballgown.

The theme of this year’s gala, hosted annually by Tina Knowles-Lawson and husband Richard Lawson – is “A Journey to the Pride Lands,” in honor of Disney’s upcoming CGI remake of The Lion King, which Tina‘s daughter Beyoncé stars as Nala.

Michelle Williams is taking on the role of Diana Ross!

The 38-year-old singer will star in BET’s upcoming music biopic American Soul.

The show is set to follow a young Diana in the 1970s as she decides whether or not to appear on producer Don Cornelius’ legendary dance show Soul Train.

American Soul is set to feature some impressive guest stars such as Bobby Brown playing soul singer Rufus Thomas, Gabrielle Dennis as Tina Turner and Kelly Rowland as Gladys Knight.

American Soul will premiere on BET on February 5th with back-to-back episodes.
