“When we met, both of us were in very similar places on a personal level,” Chad told People. “Michelle was coming off the heels of a really bad relationship, and I was just in a place of despair as well.”
“We do wanna get married very, very soon,” Michelle said. “We’ve been moving very quickly and planning. Why wait? I want to get married now, but he wants a wedding!”
The 36-year-old entertainer welcomed Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to the stage near the end of her set and they rose from the floor in a Charlie’s Angels-esque pose that was so epic.
The trio performed their songs “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name,” and “Soldier.”
While promoting her new film All the Money in the World, the 37-year-old actress was asked whether the two ever get confused for each other. And indeed they have – often!
“We often get confused for each other…I took my daughter to see Stevie Wonder. They were like ‘Huh?’ I was like ‘uh huh.” They were like ‘Oh! Oh. Okay, cool! My daughter is a huge Stevie Wonder fan and we were not going to miss that night – but they were not expecting this Michelle Williams.”
Beyonce is one of the headliners for the upcoming festival held in California. She canceled on the 2017 festival as she was pregnant with twins.
Earlier this month, one of the group’s original members, LaTavia Roberson, posted a cryptic tweet that said, “I have so much to tell you guys! All I’m allowed to say right now is…never mind.”
Former member LeToya Luckett also posted a throwback photo of the group in October.
Fans now think that Beyonce, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, and the former members will reunite. We’ll just have to wait and see if it pans out!
Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams is opening up about how she was really feeling inside while the girl group was at the height of their fame.
During a visit to The Talk on Wednesday (October 18), the 37-year-old singer opened up about her struggle with depression.
“I’m in one of the top-selling female groups of all time, suffering with depression. When I disclosed it to our manager [Mathew Knowles] at the time, bless his heart, he was like, ‘You all just signed a multi-million dollar deal. You’re about to go on tour. What do you have to be depressed about?’”
Michelle revealed that she “internalized” some things she saw while growing up.
“I was suicidal,” she said. “I was to that place where it got so dark and heavy. Because sometimes you feel like ‘I’m the provider, I take care of people, I’m not supposed to be feeling this way. What do I do?’ I wanted out.”
