Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia walk the carpet while attending the 2016 NBC Universal Upfront Presentation at Radio City Music Hall on Monday morning (May 16) in New York City.
The actors were both at the event to support their new series This Is Us, which was picked up for the network’s fall lineup.
The new series follows a unique ensemble as their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways, we find that several of them share the same birthday – and so much more than anyone would expect.
Justin Hartley also stars in the series and both he and Milo are seen stripping down in the very emotional trailer.
Milo, 38, recently opened up about what we can expect from the upcoming Gilmore Girls revival.
“I think people should be excited for classic Gilmore,” Milo told EW. “There was just something about that show that was so spot on in pop culture, in historical reference, and just really good heartfelt, you know, belly laughter cry. It touched on so much.”
“I think what people can expect is great stories and, you know, just reliving those characters that they loved,” Milo added.

Milo Ventimiglia is all smiles while hitting the red carpet at the Tribeca Digital Creators Market screening of Relationship Status held during the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday (April 21) in New York City.
The 38-year-old actor, who executive produces and stars in the new streaming series, was joined by his co-stars Evan Gamble, Nicholas Grava, Patrick Carlyle and Christine Ko.
“These characters are all connected and still very much present in one another’s lives through technology,” Milo expressed to ET at the screening. “Through dating apps, through Facebook, through Snapchat, through the things that I know we all toy around with when we’ve got a couple minutes to kill, you know, in the palm of our hand.”
“Basically it’s the idea that we’re all so connected, but we’re all still so separated by these things that are actually ‘connecting’ us,” Milo added. “You know, the complications that come from dating in the digital age, relating to one another. It’s kind of getting back to that idea of you have these great, accessible apps, and these great, accessible people through these dating apps. But really what it comes down to is, like, you gotta be a human being. You gotta still connect on a human level, and the fun and the sadness that goes along with all that.”

We’re having major Luke and Jess flashbacks in these photos from the Gilmore Girls set, posted to social media!
“Hello from the past, wait present, no you’ll see us in the future :) @warnerbrostv #GilmoreGirls @netflix. MV” Milo Ventimiglia (Jess on the show) captioned one photo on his Twitter account of him with Scott Patterson (Luke) and Sean Gunn (Kirk).
The Gilmore Girls revival has been filming for weeks and has not gotten an official release date from Netflix at this point. Tons of original cast members are returning for the reboot!
The 38-year-old actor was asked about his character Jess during the 2016 Wizard World Comic Con this past weekend in Portland, OR.
“Jess is back. I had my first day of filming on Tuesday this week back at Warner Bros., which is a lot of fun,” Milo said (via Us Weekly). “It’s kind of the studio that raised me. And Jess is up to Jess sh-t. He’s Jess. He’s a little salty and ornery and kind of doing his own thing and has zero tolerance for anything — or anyone.”
Milo added, “But he’s also there to kind of push the ball forward for some folks at Stars Hollow. Which is what Jess has always done, whether intentionally, maliciously or positively. He’s always sent people in a direction.”
