Meghan Markle just crossed paths with a distant relative and he’s famous too!
While attending the first MLB game in London, Meghan met 26-year-old Red Sox player Mookie Betts.
According to the Boston Globe, the duo are related by a marriage in the 1920s between Meghan’s great-great aunt Katie Betts and Mookie‘s grand uncle Richard Betts.
“My great, great, great, great…We’re family somehow!” Mookie reportedly said to Meghan when they met at the game.
Meghan then gave Mookie a hug before Prince Harry jokingly asked if anyone else wanted to claim to be family!
