The 37-year-old King Arthur: Legend of the Sword actor and the 33-year-old jewelry designer were spotted grabbing a casual lunch on Saturday (June 24) in Redondo Beach, Calif.

Charlie wore a long-sleeved grey shirt with a cuffed-up jeans and sneakers, while Morgana looked summertime chic in a fedora and flower-print skirt.

The 37-year-old actor and 33-year-old jewelry designer were seen checking out the selection at Designers Views on Sunday (April 16) in West Hollywood, Calif. Charlie was seen loading up his car with one of their purchases.

Charlie Hunnam dug deep into the Method world of acting while filming The Lost City of Z in Colombia and didn’t contact longtime girlfriend Morgana McNelis for five months.

“We went to Colombia, and the mail system doesn’t really work very well,” the 36-year-old actor said. “It’s completely unreliable. I received a letter from her, and I realized that from the tone of it and things she was saying that she hadn’t received the two letters that I sent before.”

In the film, Charlie plays 19th-century explorer Percy Fawcett, who is an absentee father. So he decided to go full Method and stop writing letters all-together.

“Which obviously makes me sound like a total bastard, appropriately so. But I was very apologetic,” Charlie continued.

“I had the benefit of shooting in Colombia, where they have rather lovely and somewhat cheap emeralds,” Charlie added as a way to make up for the blunder. “My girlfriend is a jewelry designer, so I was able to come back with an appropriately sized gift. It didn’t remedy all of the trouble I was in, but it got me halfway there.”

The film hits theaters on April 14.
