Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis will play a couple on the brink of getting engaged in an upcoming romantic comedy titled Happiest Season.

The film “centers on a young woman whose plan to propose to her girlfriend while at her family’s annual holiday party is upended when she discovers her partner hasn’t yet come out to her conservative parents,” according to THR.

The outlet reports that the studio has not confirmed the casting yet, but Stewart and Davis are set as the leads.

Mackenzie is best known for her roles in Tully, Blade Runner 2049, and the series Halt and Catch Fire.

Clea Duvall, who starred in Argo and the HBO show Veep, will direct. She co-wrote the film with Mary Holland.

The movie also co-stars Marianne Rendón, John Benjamin Hickey, Mark Moses, Carolyn McCormick, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Kerry Butler.

Ryan Gosling stars in the beautiful first trailer for his upcoming movie First Man.

The 37-year-old actor portrays astronaut Neil Armstrong in the film, which chronicles his journey to become the first man on the moon.

The movie is based on the book by James R. Hansen and focuses on the the years 1961 to 1969 leading up to one of the most dangerous missions in history.

The film, directed by La La Land‘s Damien Chazelle, also stars Claire Foy.

First Man is set to hit theaters later this year.

Lauv is blowing up with his new song “I Like Me Better” and he’s opening up about the meaning behind his name and also the correct pronunciation in this new video, premiering exclusively on JustJared.com.

The 23-year-old singer, whose real name is Ari Staprans Leff, told us that he is “excited to set the record straight on how to pronounce my name and to share a bit of my story” with the release of the video!

“My mom’s side of the family is from a country called Latvia. I just remember looking up what the Latvian word for lion was, because Ari means lion and I’m a Leo,” he says in the video about the inspiration for his stage name. “And I found lauva. So I got rid of the A and it was Lauv. And it just felt right.”

Ed Helms and Kevin Hart are helping bring beloved children’s book Captain Underpants to life!

The two actors are set to voice the leads in the long-awaited animated flick, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.

The film follows a pair of elementary school pranksters who hypnotize their principal into believing he’s a seriously stupid superhero, Captain Underpants.

“He doesn’t have X-ray vision, he can’t even climb a tree – wearing a cape does not make him a superhero,” Kevin jokingly says in the trailer.

The 44-year-old actor took to his Instagram to share the poster, which features Moana and demi-god Maui in the midst of their epic sea voyage.
