'Bride of Frankenstein' Postponed, Rumored Stars Angelina Jolie & Javier Bardem 'Aren't Walking Away'

Universal’s Bride of Frankenstein was expected to start production on February 1 in London, England, but has been postponed.

Deadline reports that the script needs work.

“After thoughtful consideration, Universal Pictures and director Bill Condon have decided to postpone Bride of Frankenstein,” Universal said in a statement. “None of us want to move too quickly to meet a release date when we know this special movie needs more time to come together. Bill is a director whose enormous talent has been proven time and again, and we all look forward to continuing to work on this film together.”

Angelina Jolie has long been rumored for the title role with Javier Bardem rumored to be taking on Frankenstein. The publication reports they won’t walk away, though they are not signed on yet.

'Bob's Burgers' Flick Headed to Theaters in 2020

Bob’s Burgers is getting ready to serve up a feature film!

A movie based on the Emmy-winning animated Fox series is slated to hit theaters on July 17, 2020.

“We’re thrilled to be invited to bring Bob’s Burgers to the big screen. We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show,” show creator Loren Bouchard said.

He added, “We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s – but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!”

Bob’s Burgers follows the lives and misadventures of the Belcher family and the hamburger shop they run.

Jenny Slate in Talks to Join Tom Hardy in 'Venom'

Jenny Slate is reportedly in talks to join Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man spin-off Venom!

The 35-year-old actress would play a scientist in the film starring Tom Hardy as the anti-hero, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

Riz Ahmed and Michelle Williams have also been rumored to join the upcoming Marvel film.

The character of Eddie Brock/Venom has been seen on the big screen before! Topher Grace played the famous villain in Spider-Man 3 back in 2007.

Venom is set to hit theaters on October 5, 2018.

Jared Leto to Play Hugh Hefner in Biopic

Jared Leto has landed a new role: playing the late Hugh Hefner in an upcoming biopic.

The 91-year-old Playboy icon passed away just last week at the age of 91, and Brett Ratner has a biopic planned.

Jared is an old friend,” Brett, who will direct the film, told THR. “When he heard I got the rights to Hef‘s story, he told me, ‘I want to play him. I want to understand him.’ And I really believe Jared can do it. He’s one of the great actors of today.”

Brett wanted to introduce Jared to Hugh before his death but was unable to due to Hugh’s declining health. “There’s enough footage on Hef out there that Jared will be able to get as much information as he wants,” Brett said.

'Sonic the Hedgehog' Movie Gets Picked Up By Paramount

Sonic the Hedgehog is heading to theaters!

The beloved SEGA video game has officially been picked up by Paramount Pictures to be created into a feature film, according to THR.

Sonic the Hedgehog, which was first release in 1991, focuses on Sonic and friends like Tails and Knuckles as they attempt to foil the global domination plans of Doctor Eggman Robotnik.

The rights to the film were previously owned by Sony Entertainment but much of the team that was developing the flick at that studio will remain.

The new film will be a blend of live action and CGI animation.

'Blade Runner 2049' Cancels Red Carpet at Hollywood Premiere Following Las Vegas Shooting

Blade Runner 2049 has cancelled the red carpet portion of their upcoming premiere after the tragic Las Vegas shooting.

The movie, which stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, was set to host its red carpet on Tuesday evening (October 3) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

“In light of the tragic events of last night, Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Alcon Entertainment are canceling the red carpet for tomorrow’s screening of Blade Runner 2049. We join the rest of the country in sending heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this tragedy,” Warner Bros. said in a statement.

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters October 6th.

Judy Greer In Talks to Join 'Halloween' Reboot as Jamie Lee Curtis' Daughter

Judy Greer is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the upcoming Halloween reboot as the daughter of Jamie Lee Curtis‘ character!

Jamie is reprising the role of Laurie Strode in the upcoming movie. She previously played the character in 1978′s Halloween, 1981′s Halloween II, and 1998′s Halloween H20.

Judy‘s role will be Karen Strode, Laurie’s daughter, according to Deadline.

Judy was recently seen in big blockbusters like War for the Planet of the Apes, Ant-Man, and Jurassic World, as well as indie films like Wilson, All We Had, and the new Netflix film Our Souls at Night.
