Dakota Johnson Lands Role in Indie Film 'Peanut Butter Falcon'

Dakota Johnson has landed a role in the upcoming film The Peanut Butter Falcon.

The 27-year-old actress will join Shia LaBeouf, as well as Bruce Dern in the indie film from Tyler Nilson and Mike Schwartz, who wrote and will direct.

The Peanut Butter Falcon follows a down on his luck crab fisherman as he embarks on a journey to get a young man with Down syndrome to a professional wresting school in rural North Carolina and away from the retirement home where he’s lived most of his life. Zachary Gottsagen, who was the inspiration for the movie, will play the role of Zak.

The film will begin production later this week in Georgia!

Danai Gurira Joins the Cast of 'Avengers: Infinity War'

Danai Gurira has officially signed on to join the super star-studded cast of Avengers: Infinity War!

The 39-year-old Walking Dead star will be bringing her Black Panther character – Okoye – to the film alongside the Black Panther himself Chadwick Boseman in the upcoming Marvel film.

Up next, Danai will be playing Tupac Shakur‘s other in the biopic All Eyez On Me – which is set to hit theaters on June 16.

Joe Alwyn Joins 'Mary Queen of Scots' with Margot Robbie!

Joe Alwyn is set to star alongside Margot Robbie in the upcoming movie Mary Queen of Scots!

The 26-year-old British actor, who is currently making headlines for dating Taylor Swift, is set to play Dudley, the counselor and lover of Queen Elizabeth I (Robbie).

The film “centers on Mary (Saoirse Ronan), who, as a child, was taken to France and betrothed to the French King’s eldest son Francis. But her marriage is short lived when Francis dies a year after being crowned and Mary returns to Scotland in an attempt to regain favor with her cousin, Queen Elizabeth,” according to THR.

Joe is best known for his work as the title character in Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, his first on-screen role.

Michelle Monaghan is returning to the Mission: Impossible franchise!

“Mission accepted. So thrilled to be reuniting w/ @TomCruise for #MI6! Can’t wait to show you guys more of Julia’s story 💥 #missionimpossible,” Michelle tweeted about the news of joining the sixth installment of Mission: Impossible.

Previously, Michelle‘s character appeared in both Mission: Impossible III and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, Alec Baldwin and Angela Bassett are also starring in Mission: Impossible 6. Plot details have not been released, and the movie has a release date of July 27, 2018.

So, Olaf sets out to comb the kingdom to bring home the best traditions and save this first Christmas for his friends.

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure features four new songs and opens in front of Disney/Pixar’s Coco in theaters on November 22!

Jon Hamm Joins Jeremy Renner & Ed Helms in New Comedy!

Jon Hamm has officially signed on for the upcoming film Tag!

The 46-year-old actor will play an “overachiever, both in high school and in life, who is now a successful businessman,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He will star alongside Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, Annabelle Wallis, Rashida Jones, Hannibal Buress, and Jake Johnson.

According to the outlet, “Tag is based on a true story featured in The Wall Street Journal about a group of friends who have been playing a no-holds-barred version of the children’s game Tag for the last 30 years.”

Production on the Jeff Tomsic-directed flick is set to begin in Atlanta later this month.

'Wonder Woman' Beats 'The Mummy' at Weekend Box Office

Wonder Woman once again topped the weekend box office with a whopping $57.2 million in its second outing!

According to THR, the Gal Gadot-led flick passed the $200 million mark domestically.

Coming in at No. 2 was Tom Cruise‘s The Mummy, which debuted to $32.2 million in the U.S. and $141.8 million overseas.

Taking the third spot was the animated film Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie – starring the voices of Ed Helms, Jordan Peele, and Nick Kroll – earning an an additional $12.3 million for a domestic total of $44.6 million so far.

Rounding out the top five were Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 2, grossing $10.7 million and $6.2 million, respectively.
