Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer are all smiles as they arrive at the premiere of Luce on Wednesday night (July 24) at the Whitby Hotel in New York City.

The ladies were joined by fellow co-star Marsha Stephanie Blake as they stepped out to promote their new psychological thriller.

The film follows Luce (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) – a star athlete and top high school student – after his idealized image is challenged by one of his teachers when his unsettling views on political violence come to light, putting a strain on family bonds while igniting intense debates on race and identity.

Other cast members in attendance included Russell Crowe, Sienna Miller, Annabelle Wallis, Simon McBurney, Aleksa Palladino, Josh Stamberg, Mackenzie Astin, Lucy Owen, Jenna Leigh Green, and Patch Darragh. This seven-part limited series based on a bestselling book is about Roger Ailes, the founder of Fox News, who is played by Russell.

The series premiere of The Loudest Voice airs on Sunday (June 30) at 10pm.

Happy Birthday to Meryl Streep!

Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane and Annabelle Wallis shared a bunch of laughs together while discussing their new series The Loudest Voice at the BUILD Series held at the Build Studio on Monday (June 24) in New York City.

When asked about which famous person had made the most impact on their lives, Naomi Watts and her co-stars all agreed “Meryl Streep” all around. The question then led them into wishing her an impromptu “Happy Birthday.”

Meryl just turned 70 over the weekend on Saturday (June 22).

In Showtime’s The Loudest Voice, the rise and fall of Roger Ailes are chronicled with Russell Crowe taking on the leading role of the late Fox News founder.

Naomi Watts is dishing on the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel!

The 50-year-old actress opened up about the super secretive prequel series for the first time saying that “fans won’t be let down” by what George R.R. Martin and showrunner Jane Goldman have planned.

“It makes me very excited, yeah, goosebumps all over,” Naomi told the Associated Press. “It is intimidating. It’s very exciting. And yes, having just come off the last series, where the world was blowing up over it. Everything was Game of Thrones related. All the advertising on TV, every article — everyone’s jumping on that bandwagon. So, it is scary.”

It was revealed back in October 2018 that Naomi had landed one of the leading roles in the upcoming prequel heading to HBO.

“Hopefully those fans come along and get to find something new and interesting in this world as well.” Naomi continued. “I think they won’t be let down. It’s a great team of people they’ve put together.”

As of right now, details for the Game of Thrones prequel are being kept under wraps, but production for the pilot recently kicked off in Northern Ireland.

In the Julius Onah-directed psychological thriller, a married couple (Watts and Roth) is forced to reckon with their idealized image of their son (Harrison Jr.) , adopted from war-torn Eritrea, after an alarming discovery by a devoted high school teacher (Spencer) threatens his status as an all-star student.

The 50-year-old actress was joined by boyfriend Billy Crudup as she celebrated her DuJour Magazine cover on Sunday afternoon (May 26) at the Brooklyn Chop House at The Capri Hotel in Southampton, New York.

Naomi looked pretty in a blue, ruffled dress and black wedges for magazine’s Memorial Day Kick-Off Party.

Naomi and Billy started dating back in 2017 while working on their short-lived Netflix series Gypsy.

Naomi‘s upcoming limited series The Loudest Voice premieres on Showtime on June 30 at 10 p.m. ET.

Naomi Watts was apparently not invited to the 2019 Met Gala and she told everyone on her Instagram account.

The process of making the guest list, created yearly by Anna Wintour, is extremely secretive and it’s never officially released who will be at the annual event.

Naomi posted on her Instagram, “I got benched this year, but cashing in anyway… #metgala Have fun tonight ⛺️⛺️⛺️ xxx.” Included in her post was a bunch of her past Met Gala looks.
