Nathan Fillion Joins 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' Season Two

Nathan Fillion has officially signed on for the second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events!

The 46-year-old Castle actor will play Lemony’s brother, The Wrap reports.

Also joining the season two cast are
Tony Hale
, Sara Rue, Lucy Punch, and Roger Bart. (Check out the rest of the cast members here.)

The show’s producers will announce the new additions at at Netflix FYSee space on Friday night (June 9).

The Netflix series focuses on the three Baudelaire children as they face trials and tribulations while attempting to uncover dark family secrets after the loss of their parents in a mysterious fire.

A Series of Unfortunate Events was renewed for for a second season in March and is set to premiere in 2018!

Kristin Chenoweth Is Truly the Goddess of the Earth at 'American Gods' Premiere!

Kristin Chenoweth works the red carpet tree like a true goddess while attending the premiere of her Starz series American Gods on Thursday (April 20) at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

The Emmy-winning actress plays the role of Easter, the Goddess of the Earth, on the new show, which will premiere on April 30.

Kristin was joined at the event by her co-stars Ricky Whittle, Emily Browning, Bruce Langley, Pablo Schreiber, Ian McShane, Crispin Glover, and Cloris Leachman.

Dane Cook, who is a guest star in an episode, stepped out for the premiere. Other stars who showed their support include Zelda Williams and Nathan Fillion.

Drew Barrymore Premieres 'Santa Clarita Diet' in Hollywood

Drew Barrymore is gearing up for the release of her new Netflix show Santa Clarita Diet.

The 41-year-old actress stepped out for the premiere at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on Wednesday night (February 1) in Hollywood.

Also in attendance were her co-stars Timothy Olyphant, Skyler Gisondo, Liv Hewson, Nathan Fillion, and Natalie Morales.

Here’s the show synopsis: “They’re ordinary husband and wife realtors until she undergoes a dramatic change that sends them down a road of death and destruction. In a good way.”

Molly Shannon, Jesse Metcalfe, and Cara Santana also stopped by.

'Modern Family' Cast Plays Football For Thanksgiving Episode

Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Rico Rodriguez share a laugh together while on set of their hit show Modern Family on Friday (October 7) in Los Angeles.

The trio was joined for the Thanksgiving episode filming by the rest of their co-stars Sarah Hyland, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Ariel Winter, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould, Ed O’Neill, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, as well as guest star Nathan Fillion.

The cast played a game of football and looked like they were having a blast!

'Castle' Cast & Crew React to the Series Finale

After ABC announced that Castle would be cancelled after eight seasons last week, the show aired the series’ final episode on Monday night (May 16).

Some of the cast, including Nathan Fillion, Toks Olagundoye and Molly Quinn, watched the last episode together and sent out emotional messages during the show.

“Well. That’s it. Thank you, everyone. What an incredible journey. (Mic drop) Castle out,” Nathan wrote, after live tweeting the entire show.

Castle creator Andrew Marlowe also wrote had a heartfelt message, tweeting, “Thank you to @NathanFillion for eight seasons of dedication, creativity, and leadership as #Castle. Can’t wait to see how you wow us next! @Stana_Katic Thank you for all the gifts you bestowed on Katherine Beckett. The world is a richer place because of her… and you. #Castle And a very special thanks to all the #Castle fans & especially @CastleTV for all your support over our 8 seasons. You made the ride a joy.”

Showrunners Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter also penned a thoughtful letter about the series’ conclusion, thanking all the fans.

Nathan Fillion Reacts to 'Castle' Cancellation

Nathan Fillion is reacting to the cancellation of his show Castle, after it was announced on Thursday (May 12) that it would not be returning for a ninth season.

The 45-year-old actor took to his Twitter to say thank you to those that watched and worked on the show.

“All things must end. It has been an honor working with the men and women of Castle. I am truly amazed at what we’ve done. Thank you all,” he wrote.

Nathan sent a couple more messages later on which got a little more interesting.

“Dear Every Director, It appears I have an opening in my schedule,” Nathan tweeted, adding, “Dear Fans, In whatever project I do next, loudly notice how unlike Castle and fresh and versatile I am. Thanks.”

'Castle' Canceled by ABC After Stana Katic Was Let Go

ABC has canceled Castle after eight seasons and just weeks after it was announced that star Stana Katic had been let go from the series due to “budgetary reasons.”

It was reported last month that Castle would return with only Nathan Fillion as a leading player if it was given a ninth season.

Two endings for the season eight finale were filmed in case the episode ended up the series finale. Producers are now editing the episode to make it the series finale and it will air on May 16, according to THR.
