The 22-year-old joined Pitbull on stage to sing “International Love” and his latest single, “Turn Up the Music.”
Ne-Yo also appeared during the halftime show with Pitbull to perform “Give Me Everything.”
“For me, what it’s about is showing that music is the universal language. It shows you that no matter where you’re from, what you represent, where you grew up or no matter what your culture or background may be, music brings everybody together,” Pitbull told MTV News after his performance. “To have Chris Brown come out, to have Ne-Yo come out, Nayer come out – we’re all from different backgrounds – but music brings us together.”

The couple are already parents to 11-month-old daughter Madilyn Grace.
“[My daughter] definitely knows her worth, which is a beautiful thing. That’s something I’ve tried to instill in her from day one: understand that you are a Godsend. You’re an absolute angel, and people are supposed to treat you that way,” Ne-Yo previously said about the values he’s teaching his kids.
A rep for the 31-year-old singer confirmed the good news to Us Weekly, while a source told the mag that the family’s newest addition is due next month. Originally there were rumors that the two were engaged, but Ne-Yo confirmed to Y100 that it is not true.
Ne-Yo and Monyetta, who owns a boutique in Atlanta, Ga., welcomed daughter Madilyn Grace in November 2010.
After her birth, Ne-Yo tweeted that he was “in luv for the first time. Welcoming that lil’ girl to the world last night defined for me ‘willing to kill and die for’ truly means. My world, my life, all hers.”
