Gran Turismo: The Movie is speeding into theaters this month, and critics have plenty to say already!

The Neill Blomkamp-directed film, which hits theaters on August 25, is based on the unbelievable true story of a team of unlikely underdogs – a struggling working-class gamer (Archie Madekwe), a failed former racecar driver (David Harbour), and an idealistic motorsport executive (Orlando Bloom). Together, they risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world.

Ahead of the film’s release, movie critics have started to publish their first impressions.

Orlando Bloom is stepping out to promote his new movie at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!

The 46-year-old actor joined co-stars Geri Halliwell, Archie Madekwe, and Maximilian Mundt at the Gran Turismo photocall held on Friday (May 26) held at the Carlton Beach Club in Cannes, France.

Director Neill Blomkamp was also in attendance.

Hugh Jackman looks super handsome as he suits up for his Chappie photo call at the Hotel Bristol on Thursday (February 26) in Paris, France.

The 46-year-old Aussie actor was joined by his co-star Sigourney Weaver and director Neill Blomkamp.

Neill recently revealed that his upcoming film Alien will basically disregard Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection to give Sigourney‘s character Ellen Ripley a real finish.

“I want this film to feel like it is literally the genetic sibling of Aliens,” Neill told Sky Movies (via Vulture). “So it’s Alien, Aliens, this movie.”

Sigourney, 65, added that she wants to give us “a proper finish.”

Also pictured: Hugh spotted working a sweat after leaving the gym to head back to the Hotel Royal Monceau on Wednesday (February 25).

Sharlto Copley and a guest walk the red carpet at the premiere of his new film Elysium on Wednesday (August 9) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Alice Braga, Diego Luna, William Fichtner, Faran Tahir, Josh Blacker, and director Neill Blomkamp.

The film’s leads Matt Damon and Jodie Foster also stepped out for the star-studded premiere. Make sure to check out the movie in theaters this weekend!

The 42-year-old actor was joined at the photo call by his co-star Sharlto Copley and director of the film Neill Blomkamp.

“The only sci-fi movie that I’ve ever been offered that, had circumstances been different I would have definitely done, was Avatar,” Matt recently told the Huffington Post. “And I literally couldn’t do it because of my schedule. But, listening to James Cameron talk about Avatar was so fascinating.”
