Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka has officially been suspended for the entire 2022-23 season after allegedly having an affair with a female staff member.
The 45-year-old coach and former player, who is the longtime partner of actress Nia Long, reportedly had a consensual relationship with a female staffer, but it was deemed a violation of the team’s policies and code of conduct.
Ime and Nia have been dating since 2010. They got engaged in 2015 but have yet to walk down the aisle.

Nia Long is opening up about her relationship with former NBA player Ime Udoka and why they have never gotten married.
The 49-year-old Fatal Affair actress started dating Ime, 42, back in 2010 and they also welcomed a son named Kez in November 2011. They got engaged in 2015, but it doesn’t seem like they’ll be taking that next step anytime soon.
“I understand the religious aspect of marriage. That is beautiful and it’s fantastical and it’s dreamy and it’s every girl’s fantasy to have that moment. But I don’t know that I need that to feel like I’m in a partnership that’s working,” Nia told Essence.
Nia also told Essence back in 2012 that “marriage is not a priority” for her.
Recently, Nia opened up about the big Hollywood audition where she was discriminated against.
Netflix’s latest movie to be released is the thriller Fatal Affair, which reunites frequent co-stars Nia Long and Omar Epps.
The film follows Ellie (Long) as she tries to mend her marriage with her husband Marcus (Stephen Bishop) after a brief encounter with an old friend, David (Epps), only to find that David is more dangerous and unstable than she’d realized.
Fatal Affair isn’t getting the best reviews from critics as it currently has a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but there are already a lot of fans on social media who are loving the film and comparing it to the Lifetime and Hallmark thrillers that they enjoy.
