Emily VanCamp rocks a slimming purple dress as she hits the carpet during Disney & ABC Television Group’s TCA Winter Press Tour at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa on Wednesday (January 14) in Pasadena, Calif.

The 28-year-old actress was joined by her Revenge co-stars Elena Satine, Nick Wechsler, Karine Vanasse, and Gabriel Mann.

Matt Bomer suits up while attending the 2014 College Television Award Gala held on Wednesday (April 23) at the Television Academy Foundation headquarters in Los Angeles.

Matt recently chatted with Details about losing weight for his role in The Normal Heart.

“I stopped weighing myself after losing 35 pounds,” Matt said. “I thought the number wasn’t the important thing to focus on. This wasn’t Biggest Loser.”

“[Matthew McConaughey] called me and walked me through what he did,” he added. “It was very generous, but I took a slightly different path.”

Here’s what the 35-year-old Revenge actor had to share with the mag:

On the hardest part of being an actor: “If I am being honest, the hardest part of my job is having enough confidence to carry me through the lean times in my career, or even just through a difficult time on set. Just getting out of my own way and off my own case is the hardest part. I could give a more palatable answer, but it wouldn’t be as true. And I suppose I think it’s worth saying, because I would rather have people know the truth that this business can kind of wear you down, and you will probably always struggle with your confidence. If you don’t, you’re not human. So I can put a brave face on this, but what’s the point? The truth is: Darn, it’s hard sometimes, but you just gotta do it anyway.”

On his acting career in the next five years: “I would mostly like to do comedy, I think. I mean, look, I will do anything that I am moved by. I don’t have any particular film goal. I just would like to do things that make me laugh or tearfully relate. I can say that there are characters and films that have done that for me�”have moved me and made me laugh�”but they have already been made and I wouldn’t be right for those roles. I just hope, one day, to be a part of something like that, something that moves me. Something like, The Master or Fight Club or Punch-Drunk Love�”stuff like that.”

On his greatest achievement: “I like to think�”and I could be wrong�”that if I were gone, people would miss me, and I like to think that’s because of the quality of our friendship. Making these beautiful connections in this short life, that means more to me than any job I could get or money I could make. Being a good friend (and I could still be a better one to certain people). Loving and being worthy of love is my greatest accomplishment. My greatest accomplishment is something a puppy can do.”

On working with Katherine Heigl: “I can see how people arrived at these conclusions about her. At this point, people are waiting for her to be an asshole. It sucks, because she’s actually a great person. I just know that she’s been amazing to me. I love her dearly, and she’s been such a good friend to me, and I think she’s trying. She’s not happy with some of her decisions.”

On Hollywood: “We have all been roughed and toughed in this business. And you don’t want to be on the business end.”

On working with Emily VanCamp: “It’s been interesting to work with Emily [VanCamp] for a lot of our emotional scenes. There’s something about working with her in particular – that emotional thing – it’s like she has a big place to go.”
