Hilary Duff and her husband, Mike Comrie, go on a double date with her sister, Haylie, and her boyfriend Nick Zano on Sunday (August 14) in Toluca Lake, Calif.

Over the weekend, the 23-year-old actress announced that she and Mike are expecting their first child together!

“Wow! I am just overwhelmed by all of the wonderful messages everyone is sending! Thank you so much! Big hugs! Xxo,” Hilary wrote on her Twitter account on Sunday afternoon after announcing the happy news.

FYI: Hilary is wearing Brave Leather‘s “Inian” belt and a Chan Luu necklace.

Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie get ready for a departing flight on Monday (August 1) at an airport in Mexico.

The 23-year-old entertainer had been vacationing in Los Cabos with her older sis, Haylie, and her boyfriend Nick Zano.

Hilary recently sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about her upcoming first wedding anniversary and whether she and Mike want to start a family anytime soon.

“We talk about it. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I think I want to work a little bit more,” she shared.

“I’m tossing around the idea of making another record, so obviously that wouldn’t be very good timing. [But] we want [to have kids] and we’re excited for it but I think it can wait a little while longer,” she added.

Hilary Duff stays close with sister Haylie as they leave Halloween Horror Nights at Saddle Ranch on Saturday (October 23) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old actress spent a few hours at the club with Haylie and her beau, Nick Zano.

Hil and Nick stepped out together at XIV Karats jewelry store earlier in the day, reportedly to shop for an engagement ring for Haylie.

Hilary Duff takes her sister’s boyfriend Nick Zano to the XIV Karats jewelry store on Saturday afternoon (October 23) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress reportedly was helping Nick find an engagement ring for his girlfriend, Haylie Duff.

Before heading home, the pair stopped at Cafe Med for lunch.

Earlier this week, Nick tweeted Hilary: “Giant congratulations to @hilarybeec for being the first New York Times Best Selling Author I know (for “Elixir“). Sorry Salinger we never met.”

Hilary Duff comes out to support her big sister Haylie Duff at the new cast member celebration of the off-Broadway show Love, Loss, and What I Wore at NYC’s 44 1/2 restaurant on Thursday night (July 1).

Both Duff sisters were accompanied by their main men — Haylie‘s actor boyfriend Nick Zano and Hil‘s fiance, prop hockey player Mike Comrie.
