The 23-year-old actress and her boyfriend Ian, 33, were joined by their The Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley.

On the same day, the trio attended The CW’s Upfront presentation to promote the Vampire Diaries, which will be moving to a new time slot for the 2012-13 Fall season.

The 23-year-old actress’s Vampire Diaries co-stars – Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Michael Trevino, Zach Roerig, and Steven R. McQueen – also joined her for the promo event.

The series will be moving to a new time slot for 2012-13 fall season in October. Instead of 9 p.m. on Thursdays, the show will air at 8 p.m. before Kristin Kreuk‘s new show Beauty and the Beast.

FYI: Nina is wearing Dolce&Gabbana. Ian wore a t-shirt and leather jacket both by Rogue.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder make separate entrances into their hotel on Monday (May 14) in New York City.

The Vampire Diaries costars and real-life couple both kept a low profile in sunglasses.

In a recent interview with MTV, Nina discussed the possibility of working with Ian on the upcoming adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

“I think it would be better [if] either he should get it or I should get it,” Nina said. “I know that apparently he’s really great for the role, so I hope that he gets it.”

The cute couple sipped on drinks from Starbucks as they enjoyed their stroll together.

The 33-year-old actor’s foundation recently created its own book club where members can share stories, characters, environments, and ideas found in the books they love.

“So excited about our book club,” Ian tweeted. “The series we are reading is a sure hit!”

“Happy Mothers Day amazing mamas. Love to you all” Ian added the next day in honor of Mother’s Day!

Ian Somerhalder leaves Bardot after enjoying a night out at the hotspot on Thursday (May 10) in Hollywood.

“One of my favorite songs is on TVD finale tonight! Its called Airplane – was played many times in my living room by my bro @shadowrewind,” the 33-year-old actor tweeted earlier in the day.

One of Ian‘s followers chimed in on The Vampire Diaries episode, saying, “I cant understand why Elena doesn’t love Damon,” to which he responded, “I can ;) its complicated. Love is.”
