Gwen has been tweeting pictures of the band in the studio.

Late Monday night, she posted a picture of the album’s producer, Mark “Spike” Stent, saying, “Spike is sick but still looks good gx.”

The 42-year-old rocker and her band No Doubt have been hitting the studio a lot lately. They were spotted exiting a recording session on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

“@gwenstefani @TomDumontND @nodoubt working out some melodies before Gwen steps to the mic.” No Doubt tweeted.

The band later responded to a fan question saying, “these are all new songs written over the past 2 years.”

The stylish 42-year-old No Doubt singer continued work on her band’s next studio album, the first new one since Rock Steady!

“Me and my favorite hat of life gx,” the 42-year-old No Doubt rocker wrote on the band’s Twitter account along with a picture.

“Just took a long drive to oc listening to the 5 song contenders for the first single,” Gwen continued. “What will it be?!! This is getting crazy exciting. Gx.”

“Happy Anniversary to my band!,” band member Tony Kanal wrote. “@nodoubt’s 1st club show was opening for The Untouchables at Fender’s in Long Beach 25 yrs ago tomorrow!”

The 42-year-old rocker is back in the studio with her with her No Doubt bandmates, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young after a brief break.
