Lindsay Lohan and James Deen kiss in the new 1950s themed teaser trailer for their upcoming flick The Canyons.

The film is about “the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally, among a group of young people in their 20′s and how one chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and ultimately violence.”

The Canyons, which was written by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Paul Schrader, also stars Nolan Gerard Funk, who will have a guest gig on Glee this season.

Nolan Gerard Funk will be joining the cast of Glee for its fourth season later this year as the head of the Dalton Academy Warblers!

The 26-year-old actor, who has previously starred in Nickelodeon’s Spectacular and the recent Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie, will play a threat to the New Directions, according to TV Line.

Nolan‘s character will [SPOILER ALERT!] try to lure Blaine (Darren Criss) back to the Warblers to help win the national championship. In last week’s episode, Blaine expressed that he was upset he transferred schools now that Kurt (Chris Colfer) has graduated.

Popstar! has posted the very first music video from the much-anticipated Nickelodeon TV movie, Spectacular!

The movie features Nolan Gerard Funk as rocker Nikko and Tammin Sursok as his sweet love interest Courtney. Spectacular! is about a high school choir that’s fading in popularity, as it continues to lose most of its’ members one by one. A wannabe rock singer, Nikko, is convinced to join the choir by Courtney, in hopes of winning the upcoming competition and cash prize.

The trailer for the 2009 Nickelodeon Original Movie Spectacular! has been released!

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: Nikko (Nolan Gerard Funk) is the next rock superstar and he plans to conquer the world with his band, Alloy. Courtney’s (Tammin Sursok) world revolves around her sequin-filled show choir, Spectacular. But when Alloy kicks Nikko out of the band and Spectacular loses their best male singer to a rival choir, Courtney convinces Nikko to join Spectacular. Will Nikko be the force that Spectacular needs to finally beat their rival choir, Ta-Da? Or will Nikko’s rock edge be too much for the glittery world of the show choirs?
