Noomi Rapace strikes a pose at the Prometheus world premiere held at Empire Leicester Square on Thursday (May 31) in London, England.

Co-stars Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, and Guy Pearce also hit the blue carpet in support of the sci-fi thriller, which hits theaters next Friday (June 8).

“The story, which involves a space mission investigating the origins of human life going predictably awry, has met with mixed reviews, but critics agree that [director Ridley] Scott‘s film is visually stunning and that Michael Fassbender delivers a scene-stealing performance,” the L.A. Times notes.

FYI: Noomi paired a Valentino dress with Harry Winston jewelry. Guy suited up in Lanvin while Logan chose Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière.

Noomi Rapace graces the cover of New York Times Magazine‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the 32-year-old Swedish actress and Prometheus star had to share:

On coming to Hollywood: “I thought L.A. was more about celebrities and red carpets and glossy big lips and big tits. I said to [my manager] Shelley when we met: ‘I don’t want to go to Hollywood. That’s not for me. I want to do real movies.’ And then she said, ‘But who do you actually like?’ I started to mention people, and she said, ‘Those people actually live in L.A.’”

On fame: “I’m terrified of being too famous. What I’m really afraid of is that the audiences will go into the theater and not be able to forget that it’s me, that fame will stand in the way of my acting. I want to keep being able to change into different shapes and different personalities.”

Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace sizzle on the newly released poster for their upcoming movie Passion.

The 33-year-old actress plays a corporate climber who has no problem taking credit for a coworker’s ideas.

Here’s a synopsis of the thriller: A remake of Alain Corneau‘s 2010 French film Love Crime, the film centers on two co-workers, the confident Christine (McAdams) and her admiring, but innocent and naive protégé Isabelle (Rapace). Christine has no qualms about stealing some of the fresh ideas Isabelle brings to the international company as her own, but when Isabelle falls into bed with one of Christine’s lovers, war breaks out.

Passion is set to premiere next year.

Noomi Rapace is gorgeous on the cover of the June 2012 issue of Dazed and Confused, on newsstands June 14.

On playing Lisbeth Salander in the first film adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: I gave Lisbeth my life for one and a half years, and it messed me up. I was glad to let her go. I felt, just leave me alone now, I need to come back to life!”

On being a celebrity: “Fame and celebrity culture – it’s never been my goal. I want people to go into a movie and forget that it’s me.”

Here is what the Prometheus cast had to share with the mag:

Michael on the film’s plot: “There’s definitely a link to Alien. There are creatures in it that you’ll recognize, but that’s only one tiny facet of what’s going on.”

Charlize on her minor role in the film: “I’d rather be a smaller character in a great film than the lead in a s—ty movie.”

Noomi on the connection to Alien: “I remember when I first saw Alien, it was the first time I ever saw a woman that strong. I thought ‘Oh my God, who is this woman?’ Sigourney Weaver was my hero.”

“It’s @TOMS’ “One Day #WithoutShoes” today!” the 36-year-old actress tweeted the day before, along with a photo of herself barefoot. “Go barefoot-help raise awareness for the millions of kids who do so everyday!”
