Octavia Spencer gives her Fruitvale co-star Michael B. Jordan a big hug at a portrait session during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 19) at Village at the Lift in Park City, Utah.

The 42-year-old Oscar-winning actress was also joined by her co-stars Ahna O’Reilly and Melonie Diaz, as well as writer/director Ryan Coogler.

Later in the day, the cast joined producer Forest Whitaker at the film’s premiere at the Marc Theatre.

In case you didn’t know, Octavia and Ahna previously starred together in The Help!

Octavia Spencer keeps it chic while attending the 2013 Sundance Film Festival at the Grey Goose Blue Door on Saturday (January 19) in Park City, Utah.

The day before, the 42-year-old actress picked up Sean John coats and jackets to keep warm during the icy festival and help support the New York Cares Coat Drive.

On the same day, Octavia and Ahna O’Reilly stopped for a tea break at the Lipton Uplift Lounge.

Melissa Leo and Octavia Spencer take the stage at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 10) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The actresses presented awards to Daniel Day Lewis for Best Actor thanks to his role in Lincoln, as well as the Best Supporting Actor award to Philip Seymour Hoffman for his role in The Master.

Octavia sparkled in a Tadashi Shoji dress with Dana Davis shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Irene Neuwirth jewels. Melissa is wearing an Armani dress with Samira 13 jewels and a Dominie clutch.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jaime King, Julianne Hough attend the launch party for the Samsung Galaxy Note II held at a private residence on Thursday (October 25) in Los Angeles.

The three ladies were joined by Liam Hemsworth, Octavia Spencer, Kate Walsh, Eliza Dushku, Luke Wilson, Allison Janney, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

It was recently announced that Amy will join Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, and Christian Bale in The Untitled David O. Russell Project.

The film is based on the true story of a “notorious financial con artist (Bale) and his mistress/partner in crime (Adams), who were forced to work with an out of control federal agent (Cooper) to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters, and politicians. At the epicenter of the entire tale, is the passionate and volatile leader of the New Jersey state assembly (Renner) who is also the local hero and mayor of impoverished Camden.”

Emma Watson and Elle Fanning are fierce as can be in this brand new feature from Elle magazine’s November 2012 Women In Hollywood issue!

Here’s what the two young actresses, who are being honored at the Elle Women in Hollywood event set to take place on October 15, had to share with the mag:

Emma, on Harry Potter fame: “I just knew, from the moment I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone that I was meant to play that role…I put one of the Potter films on the other night. And it was amazing to me that I had done all of that. I have to remind myself every now and then.”

Elle, on growing up famous: “I can’t really remember my life without movies… [Growing up in Hollywood] is no different really. I make movies the same way other kids play tennis or go to piano lessons. I’m trying to get better at what I want to do, just like other kids are trying to get better at what they want to do.”

Also pictured inside: Octavia Spencer, who talked about standing up to a well known producer: “Early on I had to stand up to a producer – I won’t say who, but he is famous, famous. He dressed me down in a crowded office. I told him right there in front of a hundred people, ‘You don’t know me well enough to use that tone’…And then I ran to the bathroom and cried like a baby. But he never addressed me that way again. And he is known as a yeller.”
