Zosia Mamet will miss a lot of things about working on her hit HBO show Girls, but her character Shoshanna’s wardrobe is definitely not one of them!

“Literally in six seasons there wasn’t one time that I wanted anything or would have worn anything [in real life] that [Shoshanna] wore on the show,” the 29-year-old actress recently told WWD. “Her style is like if trendy took acid.”

“I’d look at Jemima [Kirke] all the time and say, ‘I want to wear those vintage Levis and that weird flowy top and all that jewelry,’” Zosia added.

Octavia Spencer Has a Blast at Hasty Pudding Celebration!

Octavia Spencer gets kisses from two costumed performers while sitting in the lead car of the parade during her 2017 Hasty Pudding Theatricals Celebration on Thursday (January 26) in Cambridge, Mass.

The Oscar-winning actress was honored as the Woman of the Year!

“That pot was hard to get,” Octavia joked about how this honor compared with winning her first Oscar in 2011 (via THR). “It was difficult to get, but it was one that will be forever indelibly etched in my memories. This has just been so much fun today.”

Octavia was just nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars again, this time for her performance in Hidden Figures.

“That really touches my heart because I have the luxury now of getting to choose … the characters that I play,” she said in response to fans who called her an inspiration. “One of the things that I like to do is choose movies … that will allow for a little escapism but also educate while entertaining, and I think Hidden Figures does that on so many levels.”

Best Supporting Actress Oscars Category Makes History in 2017

The Best Supporting Actress category for the 2017 Oscars is making history for an amazing reason.

It is the first time in Oscars history where three black female performers were nominated in an acting category at the same time. It is also the first time that three black artists hold a majority in any category.

Viola Davis, Naomie Harris, and Octavia Spencer are nominated for their work in Fences, Moonlight, and Hidden Figures, respectively.

This is not the first time three actors of color were nominated in the same category.

Most recently, this happened in 2006 where Adriana Barraza (Babel), Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls), and Rinko Kikuchi (Babel) were nominated in the same category.
