Idris Elba happily hits the yellow carpet with his fiancee Sabrina Dhowre while attending the UK premiere of his film Yardie held at BFI Southbank on Tuesday (August 21) in London, England.

The 45-year-old actor – who makes his directorial debut with the film – was joined at the event by Thandie Newton and her husband Ol Parker as they stepped out to show their support.

Also in attendance at the premiere were the stars of the film Aml Ameen, Stephen Graham, Shantol Jackson, Jumayn Hunter, Akin Gazi, Myla-Rae Hutchinson-Dunwell, Sheldon Shepherd, Duramaney Kamara and Everaldo Creary.

Thandie Newton hit the blue carpet at the Eventim Apollo to support her director hubby Ol Parker at the big event held on Monday (July 16) in London, England.

The happy couple were also accompanied by their two gorgeous daughters, 17-year-old Ripley and 13-year-old Nico.

“With my slices of home on way to @mammamiamovie premiere,” Thandie captioned with her Instagram post. “So proud of the Daddy! X written and directed by Ol Parker ❤️❤️❤️”

“Perfect happiness @latitudefest This is what my body is made for. And the rest is my choice. #Freedom,” the 43-year-old actress captioned the photo.

The picture was posted on the @ThandieAndKay account for her website ThandieKay.com, a collaboration with her make-up artist friend Kay Montano.

Thandie and her husband Ol Parker are the parents of three children – daughters Ripley, 15, and Nico, 11, and son Booker, two and a half.
