Olivia Newton-John is opening up about her brave battle with cancer for the third time.

The 71-year-old Grease actress and “Physical” singer spoke about her health on CBS Sunday Morning with Gayle King on Sunday (September 29).

She spoke about receiving her Stage 4 diagnosis two years ago, her pain, and her strength.

“I’m happy. I’m lucky. I’m grateful. I have much to live for. And I intend to keep on living it,” she explained during her interview.

Olivia Newton-John happily strikes a pose with her award while hitting the red carpet at the 2019 Industry Dance Awards held at Avalon Hollywood on Wednesday (August 14) in Los Angeles.

The 70-year-old Grease star was joined at the event by Julianne Hough and her husband Brooks Laich, Jenna Dewan, Val Chmerkovskiy and his wife Jenna Johnson-Chmerkovskiy, Delta Goodrem, Adam Shankman, Jane Seymour, Nigel Lythgoe and Sharna Burgess.

Jenna Dewan was honored with the Trailblazer Award, while Olivia Newton-John received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Olivia recently lent her support to the non-profit Dancers Against Cancer, and the charity is among those who will benefit from money raised at the awards show.

“I just want everyone to know, I’m here, I’m doing great,” Olivia told ET about battling cancer for the third time. “I’m doing really well and I’m really healthy.”

“It was a challenging year because I broke my sacrum and I had to learn to walk again and everything,” Olivia continued. “But I am strong and I am back and I’m feeling good and loving every minute.”

The Industry Dance Awards & Cancer Benefit Show is an annual event that brings the global dance community together in celebration of creativity, industry innovation, and the fight against cancer.

Olivia Newton-John is letting her battle with cancer get her down!

The 70-year-old Grease star has teamed up with Dancers Against Cancer – an organization that has raised more than $2 million for dance educators, choreographers, dancers and their families who have been impacted by cancer.

While on set of a PSA for the campaign, Olivia opened up about her battling cancer for the third time.

“I’m doing well. I’m thriving! This is my word,” Olivia shared with People.

Last September, Olivia revealed that she was battling cancer for the third time.

“My cancer journey started in 1992, and I went through surgery and chemotherapy,” Olivia shared. “I was lucky enough to have yoga and massage and homeopathy and meditation, and then I had a spell of years where I was okay. Then I have metastases now.”

“The dance performing community means a lot to me. I’ve always loved dancers and wished that I’d learnt when I was young,” Olivia Newton-John added. “I used to do creative dance, but I never really learned it until I had to dance with Gene Kelly and John Travolta. Lucky me, I got to do Dancing with the Stars long before it was a show.”

Despite some stories saying the contrary, Olivia Newton-John is doing “extraordinarily well” right now, her husband John Easterling has revealed.

John gave an update on Olivia‘s health during an appearance on an Australian talk show.

“Olivia’s doing extraordinarily well,” he told Channel Nine’s Today Show. “We just got back from the Bahamas, swimming, boating. It’s a very, very, impressive story with Olivia.”

John opened up about Olivia using medical cannabis to deal with the pain from her battle with cancer.

“Right upfront, cannabis is not a cure-all, but an extraordinary botanical with a multitude of benefit,” John said. “For [Olivia], it really relieved the pain and if you look at the studies on cannabis, you’ll see a broad spectrum of uses across the board, not just with cancer and cancer-related pain.”

Olivia Newton John is hitting back at rumors suggesting she has weeks to live by making a personal appearance on social media.

The 70-year-old actress appeared in a video posted on Wednesday evening (January 2) on her Facebook.

“Happy New Year everyone. This is Olivia Newton John. The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated to quote a very famous quote,” she said with a laugh.

“I’m doing great. I want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 possible. Thank you all for your wonderful love and support for me and my Olivia Newton John Wellness Center in Melbourne, Australia.”

Olivia Newton John‘s family has just issued a response to a tabloid story claiming she was in grave health with just weeks to live.

The 70-year-old actress’ niece, Tottie Goldsmith, spoke to an Australian news source, with her permission, to give an update.

“You can rest assured she is going nowhere and in really good health. A sick rumor,” she said.

Reports emerged back in September that Olivia was battling cancer for the third time.
