Olivia Thirlby gets ready for her close up at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles’ Simply Shakespeare play reading held at the Freud Playhouse at UCLA on Thursday (September 27) in Westwood, Calif.

The 25-year-old actress, who was in vintage costume for the reading, was joined at the event by Tom Hanks with his wife Rita Wilson, and Community actress Gillian Jacobs.

Olivia, Tom, Rita, and Gillian, along with Eddie Redmayne, William Shatner, Topher Grace, and others attended the affair to do a reading of the Shakespeare play A Midsummer Night’s Dream!

Olivia recently shared how it was working with Karl to the press. She said, “It was a total joy to work with him and I think we were really good partners both in the world of the film and out. We spent a lot of time before shooting, really breaking down the script and tracking these two characters emotionally, and where they were with each other, how they felt about each other; mostly whether or not Anderson was passing or failing her assessment.”

Topher Grace and Olivia Thirlby attend a party celebrating the opening night performance of their off-Broadway play Lonely I’m Not on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

The pair co-star in the play at the 2econd Stage Theatre is about a man (Grace) who tries to get a date and a job four years after having a nervous breakdown and shutting his life down. He meets an ambitious young businesswoman (Thirlby) who is overcoming her own obstacles to emotional success.

Topher Grace and Olivia Thirbly attend the opening night of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man on Sunday (April 1) at NYC’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

The two actors will soon be hitting the stage together in the off-Broadway play Lonely, I’m Not, which kicks off April 10.

Topher Grace is set to make his off-Broadway debut, a rep for the actor confirms to JustJared.com.

The 33-year-old actor will play the lead in a production of Lonely, I’m Not opposite Olivia Thirlby.

Here’s the synopsis: At an age when most people are discovering what they want to do with their lives, Porter has been married and divorced, earned seven figures as a corporate “ninja,” and had a nervous breakdown. It’s been four years since he’s had a job or a date, and he’s decided to give life another shot. Lonely, I’m Not follows Porter as he meets an ambitious young businesswoman who is overcoming her own obstacles to emotional success.

Preview performances are slated to begin April 10 at Second Stage’s Tony Kiser Theatre before officially opening on May 7.
