Ryan Tedder and the guys of OneRepublic hit the streets in the just released music video for their latest single “Kids“!

The clip, which was directed by Hal Kirkland and produced by Here Be Dragons, was shot in one take around Mexico City; including shots of the Angel of Independence, Soumaya Museum, Bellas Artes Palace and the Monument to the Revolution.

“Kids” along with “Wherever I Go” will both be featured on OneRepublic‘s upcoming album Oh My My, which will be released on October 7th via Mosely Music/Interscope Records!

The track serves as the band’s next single, following May’s “Wherever I Go,” off of their upcoming fourth studio album, which is set to be released later this year!

“It’s a conscious departure,” frontman Ryan Tedder told EW of the track. “As an artist or musician, if you’re not poking or needling or pushing the envelope to see if it pops, you’re not doing it right. Whatever our sound is – and I don’t think we have a dyed-in-the-wool sound – this album is by far our most evolved.”

Ryan Tedder is all smiles while visiting The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show at the Z100 Studio on Friday morning (May 20) in New York City.

The 36-year-old OneRepublic frontman promoted his band’s newest single “Wherever I Go” and talked about their fourth studio album, which is due out later this year.

OneRepublic also just dropped their music video for “Wherever I Go,” which stars The People v. O.J. Simpson‘s Kenneth Choi as a burnt-out office worker who inspires his co-workers to dance their cares away – Watch below!

OneRepublic are back with a brand new song titled “Wherever I Go” and we’re already obsessed!

The track serves as the official lead single off their upcoming fourth studio album, which is set to be released later this year!

“This song is the hardest damn thing I’ve ever written and as such I have to learn [to sing it] properly! That’s kind of my brief description,” frontman Ryan Tedder told Wonderland mag. “Without going into details about what it is, it’s very much about obsession, and almost an unnatural, unhealthy level of obsession, is what the song is about. But it feels very, to me – like we were looking for – whenever you write a first single or an album, specifically singles, you’re always looking for a bit of a unicorn. And on this album, we were looking for a unicorn mating with another unicorn, in a magical forest. We were trying to find something – two unicorns mating in the woods.”

The 22-year-old singer’s older brother Kevin Jonas with his wife Danielle came out to show their support at the event. Other stars in attendance were Calvin Harris, Shawn Mendes, and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.

Nick recently told NY Post‘s Alexa Magazine whether or not he gets “jealous” like he says in his song.

“I think earlier on in my relationship, there were times where I would get jealous,” Nick said. “I think with time and trust built up, a lot of that went away. We have a really strong relationship now. It takes a second until you feel really locked in with someone.”

The music video includes newly released footage from the movie, which stars Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Swift, Katie Holmes, and Brenton Thwaites.

“The secret is out, we did an original song, “Ordinary Human”, for the movie The Giver (Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges) coming out this August!” the band tweeted about the track.

The Giver centers on “a seemingly perfect community, without war, pain, suffering, differences or choice, a young boy is chosen to learn from an elderly man about the true pain and pleasure of the real world.”
