Orlando Bloom is swapping his Hollywood career for a job in a British classroom!
OK, so the 40-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor isn’t actually giving up Hollywood, but he did take a break from his busy schedule to teach drama to students at Cheadle Hulme High School on Friday (January 27) in Cheadle, England.
Orlando has been involved with the launching of Laurus Trust schools, helping to co-create a curriculum and run workshops with the help of his former drama teacher Patsy Rodenburg and another former student, Paapa Essiedu.
Along with The Royal Shakespeare Company, the group hopes to bring out the students’ acting skills.
“CHEADLE HULME HIGH SCHOOL finding a voice…with PATSY RODENBURG my drama school teacher and her passion to bring voice and rhetoric into all state schools with her new program CICERO and the LAURUS TRUST,” Orlando shared on Instagram along with the photo below. “ANDREW LAW @laurustrust @pessiedu.”
