Niall Horan has Katy Perry to thank for the moment that kickstarted his career.
The 29-year-old “Slow Hands” crooner came to fame as a member of One Direction, the boy band that was formed on X Factor. However, he revealed to Katy‘s fiancé Orlando Bloom that it never would have happened without her help.
He explained how during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The 46-year-old actor is starting to promote the final season of his Prime Video series, Carnival Row.
During a recent interview with Collider, Orlando opened up about making season two the final one.
“COVID gave us time to pause and really go back in and think, ‘Okay, we’re gonna be down for a while, so what can we do to take this and make a season finale like you’ve never seen?’” he shared.
Orlando continued, “We really were building out the world, as we went along. There wasn’t books that come with this. There were just ideas and thoughts that were built out. Erik Oleson and his team wanted to land a very epic and, I think, phenomenal season finale that I’m really proud of.”
He also opened up about why he thinks that this season is a final one: “I like the idea of leaving people wanting more, honestly. These things can go on and on and on, and then people will be like, ‘Well, that was good in Season 1, or until Season 2, and then it lost its way.’”
“I like the idea that we’re going out with a bang, and we’re giving everyone the bigger and better version of what the show could be, and that makes me feel good.”
The final season of Carnival Row will debut on Friday, February 17.

The trailer for the second and final season of Carnival Row has been released!
Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne return for the final season of the Amazon Prime Video fantasy series, which will premiere in February.
Here’s the synopsis: “In a fantasy world where humans and creatures clash, Season Two of Carnival Row picks up with former inspector Rycroft Philostrate aka Philo (Bloom) investigating a series of gruesome murders stoking social tension. Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne) and the Black Raven plot payback for the unjust oppression inflicted by The Burgue’s human leaders, Jonah Breakspear (Arty Froushan) and Sophie Longerbane (Caroline Ford). Tourmaline Larou (Karla Crome) inherits supernatural powers that threaten her fate and the future of The Row.
