The 44-year-old actor was spotted earlier in the day at a park with his two kids Oscar, 13, and Ava, 7, along with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

Hugh Jackman chats with his son Oscar, 13, as the two head to his school on Thursday (May 23) in New York City.

The 44-year-old actor recently chatted with CNN about his upcoming movie The Wolverine, in theaters July 26.

“He’s back, and I couldn’t be happier,” Hugh said during the interview about the return of his beloved character. “I never in a million years would’ve thought [that] I’d still be playing this character [12 years later]. It kind of really is shocking to me, but at the same time, it’s such an instant gratitude, because I love this character.”

“I owe, in a way, everything to Bryan [Singer]. The first film I did in America was X-Men. Wolverine is a character I’ve loved playing and I can’t believe it’s going to be my seventh time playing it. It just blows me away,” Hugh shared about his upcoming film The Wolverine.

He added, “It not only feels like the right kind of project, it actually is so exciting that we’ll all be back together again. I don’t want to give away too much but I’m really excited not only to reunite with all those great actors but also to work with some of the other ones.”

“We are halfway done filming Prisoners in Atlanta…. Can’t wait for you all to see it. Love working with our entire cast and crew.” Hugh wrote about his upcoming film.
