Paris Hilton has pleaded guilty to her cocaine possession case in Las Vegas – and she won’t be going to jail!

The 29-year-old heiress will pay $2000 in fines, complete 200 hours of community service and go through a substance abuse program in addition to being on probation for a year.

Paris‘ judge warned her that if she is arrested for anything but a minor traffic violation over the next year, she will be put into jail.

“The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf-Astoria,” the judge said.

Paris Hilton will be charged with felony drug possession after being arrested on Friday night in Las Vegas.

The 29-year-old heiress was in the passenger seat when her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was pulled over and police smelled “the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle,” according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

After she asked to go to the bathroom at a nearby hotel, police escorted Paris across the street and noticed that as she reached into her bag to pull out lip balm, a baggie of cocaine fell out of the bag.

Paris said the purse and cocaine were not hers and belonged to a friend. When cops asked about the drugs, Paris said she hadn’t seen it before but thought it was gum.

The 29-year-old heiress was arrested on Friday night (August 27) in Las Vegas for possession of cocaine.

“This matter will be dealt with in the courts, not in the media, and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law,” Paris‘ lawyer, David Chesnoff, said in a statement earlier today.

Paris was released on Saturday morning on her own recognizance.

Paris Hilton was arrested Friday night (August 27) for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas.

The 29-year-old heiress was busted during a traffic stop by a Las Vegas Metro officer in front of the Wynn Hotel and Casino on the Vegas strip.

According to CBS News, the police searched the vehicle and found cocaine in Paris‘ purse.

Paris was taken to the Clark County Detention Center where she was charged with possession of an illegal substance and was released around 2:30am PT on Saturday.

This is reportedly the third recent run in with authorities. In July, Paris was mistakenly detained in South Africa for marijuana and then again in the French island of Corsica.

Paris Hilton has reportedly landed in trouble with police for the second time this month!

The 29-year-old socialite was briefly detained on the French island of Corsica after police found less than a gram of marijuana in her purse, police sources told the AFP.

Paris was briefly questioned at the World Cup earlier in the month on drug suspicions but was cleared of any involvement.

“Just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false! I am having the best vacation of my life! What an amazing summer!” Paris tweeted in response to the news reported. “I feel so blessed and grateful for everything.
