Patrick recently opened up about how he feels after departing Grey’s Anatomy.
“I think it was just time,” Patrick told ABC News. “That period had come and it was time to move on. And there’s this seduction of keeping the money and the paycheck and the consistency of having a job. Sometimes creatively you need to move on and emotionally you need to move on and that’s what happened. My career’s been based on a specific archetype, which is usually the prince base or the romantic lead. And that’s one side of my nature. But there’s a lot more for me to explore.”
“I have time to feel and think and be much more thoughtful in the choices I make,” Patrick added. “Before you were on such a treadmill just trying to keep up. It’s like running a marathon. You’re just trying to get to the finish line. And that’s not to be disrespectful for the opportunity.”

Renee Zellweger strikes a pose in a white dress while attending a special luncheon in celebration of her latest film Bridget Jones’s Baby on Tuesday (September 13) in New York City.
The Oscar-winning actress was joined by her co-star Colin Firth, director Sharon Maguire, writer Helen Fielding, producer Eric Fellner, and moderator Savannah Guthrie ahead of her special fan screening of the flick at Cinema 123 hosted by DuJour Media, Gilt, and Zacapa Rum.
“My personal life had taken a back seat to fulfilling my professional obligations. I felt a responsibility not to let people down. And so I just kept going,” Renee revealed to People about going through an exhaustion period. “I’m glad folks think I look different. I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows. I am healthy. For a long time, I wasn’t doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable. I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. Bad advice… when someone else’s suggestion about what might be a good idea feels like kindness.”
That same day, Renee and Colin‘s co-star Patrick Dempsey was spotted keeping it cool and casual while making his way inside El Capitan Theater to promote the film on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles – Watch his interview below!

The Oscar-winning actress was recently asked by The Advocate to discuss the rumors that her ex Kenny Chesney is gay. The couple got married in 2005 and she cited “fraud” while annulling their four-month marriage.
“I forgot about that. It’s a pretty big thing to forget, isn’t it? That made me sad. It made me sad that somehow people were using that as a way to be cruel and calling someone gay as a pejorative, which has fateful consequences. Of course, there’s the bigger-picture problem of why anyone had to make up a story at all,” Renee said.

The 47-year-old actress and her leading men have been hot on the European promo trail this week, already making stops in Paris and Berlin after premiering the movie in London.
The trio was also joined on the red carpet by the film’s director Sharon Maguire.
“There were interesting conversations with [Sharon] about how [Bridget] might have gotten her life together,” Renee recently told The New York Times about her character. “She’s a little bit more mature, she’s progressed professionally, moved into property ownership in London and has achieved her ideal weight. And still her life is a relative mess. I like the message in that: that we can tick off the boxes, and yet we still don’t quite have it together. And that’s pretty much the truth of growing up, isn’t it?

Here’s what the 50-year-old Bridget Jones’s Baby star had to share with the mag:
On living life: “I don’t think there’s such a thing as happily ever after…You need the ebb and flow of life. you need the good days along with the bad days in order to experience something and stay even-keeled.”
On turning 50: “I’d much rather be 50 than 20. Life gets much easier.”
On playing McDreamy and leaving a hit show: “When you’re on a long-running show, you’re pulling the same beasts over and over again. It’s very hard to make new discoveries the longer you’re there… It was ten years of never being in control of my own schedule…I’m definitely not McDreamy; I’m not a perfect person. I’m a human being with flaws and issues like everyone else.”
