Clive Davis always throws the most star-studded party during Grammys Weekend every year, and 2024 was no exception!

The legendary music mogul hosted the Pre-GRAMMY Gala & GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons on Saturday night (February 3) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Some of the celebs who walked the red carpet included Ice Spice, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lana Del Rey.

Legendary stars like Meryl Streep, Cher, Tom Hanks, and more were all there. It was a family affair for Meryl, whose son-in-law Mark Ronson is nominated for several awards at the Grammys this year. He was joined by wife Grace Gummer.

Sony Music Publishing Chairman and CEO Jon Platt was honored at the event.

The stars are stepping out to honor Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy!

John Legend along with Chloe X Halle attended the 2023 MusiCares to honor Smokey, 82, and Berry, 93, on Friday night (February 3) held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles.

Other stars in attendance included Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Elton John, Sheryl Crow, Nancy Pelosi and husband Paul, Lionel Richie, Brandi Carlile, Jimmie Allen, Dionne Warwick, Mumford & Sons, Real Housewives of Potomac star and singer Candiace Dillard, Sebastian Yatra, Jordin Sparks, and Russell Simmons.

During the event, Smokey took to the stage to share an emotional tribute to his longtime friend and mentor Berry.

“In my life I’ve been blessed enough to get a few awards. But this one is really the most special to me because I’m getting this award with my very best friend in the world,” Smokey said, via Billboard. “I’m standing here tonight because when I first met this man, it was the beginning of my dream come true. I wanted to be a singer, to be in show business, write songs and make music. I never thought it would be possible for me from where I grew up. But he took me under his wing … I love you man. you are so precious.”

Nancy Pelosi has released her first statement after her husband Paul Pelosi was the victim of a horrible attack.

An intruder invaded the Speaker of the House’s home early Friday morning (October 28) and assaulted her husband with a hammer. She provided an update on his wellbeing in a letter shared with the rest of the House of Representatives.

Nancy Pelosi‘s husband Paul Pelosi is currently in the hospital after being “violently assaulted” in their San Francisco home.

The Speaker of the House’s home was broken into overnight on early Friday morning (October 28) and reports say the attacker was specifically looking for Nancy.

NBC News says the suspect used a hammer in the attack and was heard shouting, “Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?” Police responded to the scene just before 2:30am and there was no security presence at the house before that time.

Paul Pelosi, 82, the husband of the 82-year-old speaker of the United States House of Representatives, was arrested over the weekend in Napa County, Calif. and charged with drunk driving, via the New York Post.

The 41-year-old reality star and the 28-year-old Saturday Night Live cast member made their first public appearance together at the 2022 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor held at The Kennedy Center on Sunday evening (April 24) in Washington, DC.

During the event, Bruce Springsteen took to the stage for a performance.

Jon Stewart is being honored as this year’s recipient of the Mark Twain Prize For American Humor. He was supported at the event by wife Tracey McShane and their kids Nathan, 17, and Maggie, 16.
