Ariana Grande Knew She Would Marry Pete Davidson in 2016!

Ariana Grande knew she was going to marry Pete Davidson before they were even friends!

The 25-year-old songstress just revealed that she told her tour manager that she was going to marry him shortly after meeting him on Saturday Night Live in 2016.

“I left his writers room when we were writing skits and stuff for the show…And I left the room and I jokingly said to my tour manager, I was like, ‘I’m marrying him 100 percent.’ I was like, ‘I’m literally marrying him,’” Ariana explained on The Tonight Show.

Despite her feelings, the pair didn’t even become friends until much later.

Ariana added, “We never exchanged numbers or anything. We weren’t even friends for the longest time. But I had the biggest crush in the world on him the whole time, like forever.”

Ariana Grande just released her new album Sweetener and its includes a song that she wrote about and named for her fiance Pete Davidson!

The 25-year-old singer opened up about the short song during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (August 16) in New York City.

Ariana said that she wrote the song just one week after she and Pete started hanging out. She also said that she knew she would marry him after their writing session on SNL, which was before they actually started dating.

Pete Davidson Reveals When He Decided He Wanted to Marry Ariana Grande

Pete Davidson is featured in September’s issue of GQ, on newsstands August 21.

Here’s what the 24-year-old SNL star, who is engaged to Ariana Grande, had to share with the mag…

On when he decided he wanted to marry Ariana: “The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow.’ She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, ‘Do you like any of these?’ She was like, ‘Those are my favorite ones,’ and I was like, ‘Sick.’”

On their new apartment, which Ariana bought: “She’s really sweet. She’s like, ‘This is our house,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re very nice for saying that. Thank you for letting me stay here.’ She’s like, ‘We’re getting married!’ And I’m like, ‘I know, thank you for letting me stay here.’…It’s like, we have six beanbags, but we have no forks—you know what I mean? We’re learning how to be adults. We’re having a really fun time.”

On how happy he is: “The universe works in weird ways. All I know is that I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”

Pete Davidson Chooses His Favorite Songs From Ariana Grande's 'Sweetener'

Pete Davidson is picking his favorite tracks from fiancee Ariana Grande‘s new album Sweetener!

The 24-year-old Saturday Night Live cast member has already listened to the whole album, and he named his faves in an Instagram video that the 25-year-old singer shared on Saturday (August 11).

“My top 5? ‘God Is a Woman’ because that s–t f–ks hard,” he says in the black-and-white clip, featuring the duo driving around in a car as Ariana giggles in the background. “Seriously that s–t bangs. That slaps hard.”

“That and then my song which is called ‘Pete’ which is pretty sick,” he continues. “And then I’ll go ‘R.E.M.’ And then I would go ‘Sweetener’ because it’s just very happy and very fun. And ‘Better Off’ because it’s sick.”

“They’re all sick,” he adds.

ICYMI, Ariana recently decided to change the title of her song “Pete” to “Pete Davidson.”

Sweetener drops on August 17.

The 25-year-old “No Tears Left to Cry” crooner has decided to rename the upcoming song dedicated to fiance Pete Davidson…to “Pete Davidson.”

Ari explained the title change in response to a fan on Twitter.

“i like the way it looks i love his name and i love him music lasts forever. it’ll outlive any tattoo, any memory, any anything, even myself so i want my love for him and how i feel to be a part of that<" she wrote. Too cute!
