Mark Wahlberg suits up on the red carpet at the Deepwater Horizon premiere held during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 13) at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.

The 45-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell, and Gina Rodriguez, as well as director Peter Berg.

In case you didn’t realize, Kurt is Kate‘s step-father!

Earlier in the day, Mark appeared on stage for an “In Conversations” event where he debuted the trailer for his upcoming movie Patriot’s Day, about the Boston Marathon bombing.

Will Smith poses for photos at a screening of his new movie Concussion on Thursday (November 12) at the Sony Screening Room in New York City.

The 47-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star David Morse, director Peter Landesman, and special guests like Usher, Peter Berg, Hill Harper, Cuba Gooding Jr., and newlyweds Leven Rambin and Jim Parrack.

In a recent interview, Will said that being a “football dad” made it tough for him to tackle the role in the movie.

“For me, [the role] was really conflicting. When I sat down with Bennet I was hoping, ‘Please say something to make me not take this movie,’” Will told Yahoo. “As a parent I felt like I had to be a part of this. Bennet’s quest for the truth… became our quest to deliver the truth, because people have to know.”

Peter Berg has taken to Instagram to explain why he posted a transphobic meme about Caitlyn Jenner during the ESPYs on Wednesday night.

The 51-year-old director is best known for directing the films Lone Survivor, Battleship, and Friday Night Lights. He shared a meme that showed side-by-side photos of Caitlyn an Army veteran/double amputee along with this caption: “One man traded 2 legs for the freedom of the other to trade 2 balls for 2 boobs. Guess which man made the cover of Vanity Fair, was praised for his courage by President Obama and is to be honored with the ‘Arthur Ashe Courage Award‘ by ESPN?”

Here is what Peter wrote on Thursday afternoon to clarify his intentions by posting the meme: “I have the utmost respect for Caitlyn Jenner and I am a strong supporter of equality and the rights of trans people everywhere. I also believe that we don’t give enough attention to our courageous returning war veterans, many of whom have sacrificed their bodies and mental health for our country and our principals- principals that include the freedom to live the life you want to live without persecution or abuse.”

The 42-year-old actor was also joined by his Lone Survivor director Peter Berg, with whom he’s also collaborating on the upcoming film American Desperado.

It was just announced that Mark and his brother Donnie Wahlberg will be starring in a new reality series for A&E titled The Wahlburgers. It will follow them as they return to their hometown to open up a hamburger restaurant.

Whitney Cummings and her boyfriend Peter Berg have reportedly gone their separate ways, Us Weekly reports.

The 31-year-old comedienne reportedly announced the break-up during a recent stand up set.

“She announced it,” a spectator said. “It kind of sounded like a bad breakup �”- she talked about hating guys.”

Whitney and Peter apparently broke it off about two weeks ago.

The couple were last spotted out together over the summer, looking super cuddly outside of a hotel in New York City.

Peter, 51, is a director and actor, most recently having directed Battleship. Whitney co-created the CBS comedy 2 Broke Girls after her own show Whitney, and her talk show Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings, were both canceled.
