Gerard Butler is dashing while attending the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (April 27) in Washington, D.C.

The 43-year-old actor was accompanied by his man date Piers Morgan, who is the host of Piers Morgan Live.

Gerard and Piers will be seated at the CNN table, alongside Elizabeth Banks, Homeland‘s Navid Negahban, and The New Normal‘s Justin Bartha.

The night before, Gerry attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Weekend Pre-Party.

Katie Couric and Kelly Ripa hit the red carpet at The Hollywood Reporter’s Celebration of the 35 Most Powerful People in Media on Wednesday (April 10) in the Grill Room at the Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City.

The ladies were joined by Kelly‘s husband Mark Consuelos and Live! co-host Michael Strahan, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Piers Morgan, Barbara Walters, model Coco Rocha, Cobra Starship‘s Gabe Saporta with fiancee Erin Fetherston, Gayle King, Josh Lucas, Bridget Moynahan, and Olivia Palermo with beau Johannes Huebl.

Casey Anthony is breaking her silence, telling CNN’s Piers Morgan, “Obviously I didn’t kill my daughter.”

The 26-year-old Florida woman, who was acquitted in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, spoke to the TV host for 10 minutes over the phone, a conversation which wasn’t played on-air.

“There’s nothing in this world I’ve ever been so proud of. There’s no one I loved more than my daughter. She’s my greatest accomplishment,” Piers quoted Casey as saying.

“The public perception of me is bad, absolutely horrible,” she also told Piers. “I was a stupid kid. I’ve never been a ‘party girl,’ and I’ve gone through hell. I’m ashamed in many ways of the person I was.”‬

As for life after her now infamous trial, her lawyer revealed she spends her days indoors, reading and watching television.

“I don’t drink now. I’ve probably had a handful of beers since I’ve been on probation. I’ve never done drugs, apart from a little bit of marijuana in my early 20s,” Casey said.

Before he left the show to pursue his CNN talk show, Piers used to sit on the America’s Got Talent judging panel with Kelly‘s mom Sharon.

Kate Hudson looks stunning on the red carpet at the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (April 28) in Washington, DC.

The 33-year-old actress was joined by her mom Goldie Hawn at the prestigious event. They will be sitting at the CNN table with Piers Morgan (pictured inside).

The dinner will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and will also be attended by President Obama.

Charlie Sheen leaves the CNN building after an interview on CNN on Monday (February 28) in Los Angeles.

“My motto is to enjoy every moment,” the 45-year-old actor told CNN‘s Piers Morgan. “I don’t think I would trade any of it because I’m still alive, which is pretty cool.”

Last week, CBS and Warner Bros decided to halt production on Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season. On Monday night they agreed to pay the crew of Two and a Half Men for half of the eight episodes, although Sheen says he will not rest until everybody is paid for all eight episodes.

Here’s what the 45-year-old Piers Morgan Tonight host had to share:

On what made Simon Cowell choose him as an America’s Got Talent judge: “He said he was trying to find somebody as obnoxious as him.”

On whether he and Simon are really alike: “I’m not as vain as him, physically. He has all these treatments and Botox and all. I don’t do that kind of thing. I think we’ve both got big egos. Which are always, of course, driven half by supreme self-confidence and half by supreme insecurity.”

On covering the royal wedding: “I’m planning to take the show to London the week before and do it live from there. I knew Diana very well. I had lunch with her and Prince William when he was younger. I’ve known quite a few of the royals – Charles, Camilla, and so on. So I’m in a good position to keep an inside track on all that. It’s actually quite a gift for me, I think, that it’s happening soon into my tenure.”

On his hidden talent: “I can do a very good Axl Rose impression, stripped to the waist in a bandanna, after I’ve had a few Jack Daniel’s.”

On how Simon would rank the act: “He would get me straight off the show as fast as he possibly could.”
