Now that Katy Perry has announced plans to leave American Idol behind, who do you want to see fill her seat at the judges table?

The 39-year-old “Firework” pop icon confirmed that she’d be stepping back from her position as a judge on the show after Idol‘s 22nd season airs. She’s held down a spot on the panel since 2018 when she signed on.

Katy leaving will create a gap that needs to be filled. Who should join Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on the panel?

Ariana Grande is No. 1!

The 30-year-old music superstar debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “yes, and?”. marking her eighth No. 1 and 21st Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 overall, according to a release from Republic Records.

Each lead single from her first seven studio albums debuted in the Top 10, the only artist to achieve this accomplishment! In addition, “yes, and?” debuts at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales Chart.

CBS has ordered an NCIS prequel series that will focus on a younger version of Mark Harmon‘s iconic character Gibbs.

Harmon and his son Sean are producing the new show together and while Sean played the younger version on NCIS, he has opted to not reprise the role in the upcoming series.

Deadline reports that “NCIS: Origins begins in 1991, years prior to the events of NCIS, and follows a young Gibbs. In the series, Gibbs starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks.”
