Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his wife Princess Sofia have such a beautiful family!

The royals were joined by their three kids while attending their son Prince Julian‘s baptism on Saturday (August 14) at Drottningholm Castle Chapel in Stockholm, Sweden.

The couple welcomed their son Julian into the world back in March. The newborn is seventh in line to the Swedish throne. Carl Philip and Sofia are also the parents of five-year-old Prince Alexander and three-year-old Prince Gabriel.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have revealed the name of their newborn son and revealed his first photo!

Introducing…Prince Julian! The couple also revealed the baby’s first photo, and he’s so adorable! You can see the photo embedded inside this post, just below.

“We are so happy and grateful to be able to welcome our third son to our family. Princess Sofia and I, and his two big brothers, have all been longing for this day. And now we are looking forward to getting to know this new little member of our family,” Prince Carl Philip said in a statement after his son’s birth last week.

The baby boy joins the couple’s four-year-old son Prince Alexander and three-year-old son Prince Gabriel. The newborn is seventh in line to the Swedish throne.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden have welcomed another child into the world!

The royal couple announced that they welcomed a baby boy on Friday (March 26) at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.

“We are so happy and grateful to be able to welcome our third son to our family. Princess Sofia and I, and his two big brothers, have all been longing for this day. And now we are looking forward to getting to know this new little member of our family,” Prince Carl Philip said in a statement.

Congrats are in order for Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden – the royal couple just announced that they are expecting their third child!

The royal court of Sweden revealed the happy news in a statement, sharing that Princess Sofia is due in March or April of 2021.

The new baby will join big brothers, Prince Gabriel and Prince Alexander.

“We are happy and look forward to welcoming our third child, a sibling to Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel. A new little member of our family,” Carl Philip and Sofia shared in a statement.

While the new baby will hold the title of Prince or Princess, will not carry the “Royal Highness” styling. The baby will also be seventh in the Swedish line of succession, taking over the spot from aunt, Princess Madeleine.

Late last month, the Swedish royal court also revealed that Carl Philip and Sofia had tested positive for coronavirus.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden have tested positive for COVID-19.

The married couple are quarantining with their children, Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel, and are said to have only have mild flu like symptoms, according to a statement issued by the Palace.

“On Wednesday, November 25, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia went in to quarantine after they showed symptoms of illness and were subsequently found to be infected with covid-19,” it started off. “The prince and princess show milder flu symptoms, but feel well under the circumstances.”

It continues, “Immediately after the illness, the Prince and Princess were quarantined at home with their children.”

“Infection tracing is initiated under the supervision of the King and the family life doctor. Their Majesties The King and Queen and Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel, who are part of the infection tracking, will be tested on Thursday.”

Carl Philip and Sofia aren’t the first royals to test positive for coronavirus.

The 41-year-old Swedish royal is a major in the Swedish Navy and he paid a visit to the 1st Marine Regiment and the 4th Naval Warfare on Tuesday (September 22) in Berga outside of Stockholm, Sweden.

Carl Philip worked up the ranks in the Navy over the years and he achieved the rank of major in 2014. He looks so good in his camouflage uniform in these new photos!

If you didn’t know, Carl Philip and his wife, Princess Sofia, have been married since 2015 and they have two kids together. They were spotted on a date night at the theatre on Wednesday night and we have some great photos of them stepping out!

The Duke and Duchess of Varmland sat together for a preview of “If I Say Something, It Only Gets Worse…” during the performance and shortly after, gave a speech to the socially distanced crowd inside.

Sofia wore a chic mint green chiffon blouse, and pants with a matching belt for the event.
