Prince William, Prince of Wales said that memories of walking behind his mother Princess Diana‘s coffin resurfaced as he did the same for his grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
The Queen passed away at the age of 96, and the royal family has been honoring her memory ever since.
Plans for the Queen’s death, called Operation London Bridge, entailed a procession behind her coffin. Prince William partook in that and walked alongside his brother Prince Harry.
He told a mourner that doing so “brought back memories,” according to royal reporter Roya Nikkhah.
