Sweden's Princess Victoria Wore a Pink Ribbon With Her Pink Powersuit For an Important Reason

Princess Victoria looks lovely in an all-pink look while arriving at the ECMO Center at Karolinksa University Hospital for a private tour on Wednesday (September 30) in Stockholm, Sweden.

The 43-year-old heir apparent accessorized her look with with a pink ribbon on her lapel, which represents her role as the patron for the Swedish Cancer Society.

The Pink Ribbon Campaign will support and raise awareness for breast cancer throughout the nation during the month of October.

“We would like to thank Crown Princess Victoria and everyone else involved in the fight against cancer. Every person’s contribution counts, every fundraiser, every penny, together we make a difference so that fewer people suffer from cancer and more can live a good life after treatment,” Ulrika Årehed Kågström, Secretary General of the Swedish Cancer Society, shared in a statement.

During her visit, Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel, were given a tour of the facility which provides life support machines to help people who have a severe and life-threatening illness stopping their heart or lungs from working properly.

Sweden's Princess Victoria & Husband Prince Daniel Don't Wear Face Masks On Official Visit - Here's Why

Princess Victoria of Sweden walks ahead of her husband, Prince Daniel, while visiting an ambulance station in the suburb of Solna, outside of Stockholm, Sweden on Thursday afternoon (August 27).

The 43-year-old heir to the Swedish throne and Daniel made a conscious effort in enforce social distancing rules during the pandemic, however, went without masks.

While other European royals are wearing them, Sweden is one country who hasn’t enforced the wear a mask rule to slow the spread of coronavirus.

The country’s Public Health Agency made an announcement that says there is no need for members of the public to use face masks when in public spaces such as buses or shops, however, some airports recommend the use of masks inside, and train operators provide face masks to all passengers and recommends their use during travel

Earlier in the week, Victoria and Daniel were also seen visiting the artist organization wip:sthlm, which aims to create an organization where a large group of artists can collaborate for the best possible workspaces as well as exchange of ideas.

Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria & Husband Prince Daniel Celebrate 10th Anniversary With Never Before Seen Images From Their Wedding

Crown Princess Victoria is following in her younger brother, Carl Philip‘s footsteps.

To celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary to husband Prince Daniel, the couple shared four never before seen images from their own nuptials. See them HERE!

Victoria and Daniel wed at the Stockholm Cathedral in Sweden on June 19, 2010.

“The 19th of June 2010 was a special and very happy day in our lives,” the crown princess couple shared on the royal house’s Instagram. “Among the absolute strongest memories are all the people who chose to celebrate it in different ways with us – out on the streets of Stockholm, in Ockelbo and other parts of the country.”

The caption continued, “We still carry the warmth and good wishes we received that day. Today, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for the support we have experienced during these ten years, and which means a lot to us.”

Victoria and Daniel have two children together: Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.

Crown Princess Victoria Of Sweden Visits Overkalix With Husband Prince Daniel

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden shakes the hand of a young boy during her visit to Overkalix in Sweden on Tuesday afternoon (March 10).

The 42-year-old royal was joined by her husband, Prince Daniel, for the visit, where they stopped by a factory to chat with the workers.

Victoria donned a Midnight Sun necklace, a present given to her by a local jeweler.

Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel of Sweden Welcome a Baby Boy

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband Prince Daniel welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday evening (March 2) in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Swedish Royal Court later announced that the couple named their new addition Oscar Carl Olof, who will be known as Oscar. He was also assigned the Duke of Skåne.

“They are doing great and have been really well-cared for. I have not had time to feel just yet how it feels to be a father of two. But it feels good so far!” Prince Daniel told reporters outside the hospital.

Victoria and Daniel are already parents to three-year-old daughter Princess Estelle, who is second in line for the crown after her mother. This makes Oscar third in line.
