The Hollaback Girl sang and pranced around in black lingerie and a headband in her performance of “Big Spender.” Gwen worked the stage in a black mini, captain’s hat and a boa in her rendition of “13 Men.”

• Jim Carrey is making his Gulfstream V jet available to charter for $8,000 an hour. Carrey purchased the plane for a reported $41 million in 2001.
• Neighbors in Jodie Foster‘s West Village building say the actress is unfriendly and they miss the apartment’s former occupant, Ricki Lake. Foster apparently turns her back to neighbors rather than just saying " hello."

• When several fans submitted designs with covers that read “20 Y.O.” instead of “20 Years Old”, Janet Jackson liked it so much, she decided to officially change the album’s title. The CD hits stores on September 26th.

• Rihanna is set to perform her No. 1 hit single "S.O.S." live at The Teen Choice Awards 2006 on Sunday, August 20th.
• Without explanation, Jennifer Lopez has abruptly quit the remake of the 1970s smash hit show, Dallas.
• Uma Thurman says she will remain committed to her next flick, In Bloom, even though the director was recently arrested on sexual assault charges involving two Connecticut women.  Vladim Perelman was arrested after he allegedly groped two women and was later released on $5,000 bond.
• Daisy Lowe, Gavin Rossdale‘s 17-year-old daughter, speaks out for the first time about her rocker dad and his wife, Gwen Stefani.  Lowe tells the September issue of W that she definitely doesn’ t call Stefani "stepmum" and she considers her mom’ s longtime boyfriend, Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey her "dad." Lowe and Rossdale occasionally exchange emails and are not very close.
• The Hills wrapped three weeks ago but will begin filming the second season right away because it doesn’t want to miss a minute of its stars’ lives. The show, starring Lauren Conrad, is one of MTV’s highest rated shows.  Okay, but how dumb was she to pass up the internship in Paris?
• The Pussycat Dolls will search for a new member this winter.  The new CW network says it’s staging an eight-week search and the group, which is apparently down a member (lead singer Nicole Scherzinger went solo), will judge the contest. Ladies and gentleman, we have another reality TV flop on our hands…
• Hilary Duff is coming out with a new album on November 21st.  Her first single is called "Play with Fire" and has a techno dance vibe to it.

• Matt Damon is rumored to star as a young Captain Kirk in J.J. Abrahm‘s upcoming Star Trek movie, centering on Kirk and Spock‘s early days at a space academy.  "[William] Shatner gave his blessing," says one source. "J.J. got his approval. J.J. wants Damon as Capt. Kirk. He really loves the idea."
